We had the good fortune of connecting with Medlink Agustina Silberstein, María Laura Celso and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Medlink, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We are two Argentine doctors who have lived in the U.S. for almost 10 years. As both doctors and patients, we recognized the challenges Argentinians abroad face with foreign healthcare systems, such as language barriers and cultural differences. From our own experiences and feedback from others, we saw an opportunity to connect Argentinians worldwide with trusted healthcare professionals in Argentina. Our goal is to offer them the chance to manage their medical needs, like consultations and studies, in their native language and in a familiar, comforting environment, making healthcare more accessible and personal for all Argentinians abroad.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are MedLink, a passionate team of doctors from Argentina who firmly believe in the personalized, patient-centered model of healthcare. With a deep understanding of various medical systems, we aim to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers to deliver tailored care that meets each patient’s unique needs.
Reaching this point wasn’t easy. However, through dedication, perseverance, and the invaluable support of our exceptional team, we’ve overcome the challenges that came our way.
Our purpose is simple but powerful: to offer residents of countries worldwide access to exceptional medical care while visiting Argentina. Along the way, we’ve learned the importance of truly listening to our patients and addressing their concerns, as well as the value of having a strong, reliable team.
We want the world to know that we are committed to making healthcare more accessible, personalized, and of the highest quality. Our journey has been one of growth, learning, and unwavering commitment to providing the best healthcare experiences for those who trust us with their well-being.

We would like to begin by expressing our deepest love and gratitude to our patients, who place their trust in MedLink to care for their health. Their support inspires us to continually improve and ensure they receive the highest quality care during their visits to Argentina. We would also like to acknowledge our exceptional team, including Dr. Johanna Fair, Medical Operations Director; Marita Muriago, Marketing Manager; Emanuel Cimino; and all the dedicated doctors who collaborate with us to provide outstanding healthcare services. We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our families—Santiago, Bauti, Fanco, German, Amanda, and Juli—for always being there, motivating us to grow and develop a project like this. None of this would have been possible without each of them supporting this project and encouraging us to create MedLink.
