Today we’re excited to be connecting with Michelle Townson again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Michelle , thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
Hello everyone I am Michelle Townson. Sustainable fashion designer of my brand La Roja by Misha , Our unique brand is dedicated to give plastic a new life, to design fashionable accessories and create new job opportunities to teenagers recovering from addictions, women exposed to vulnerable situations, people over 80 years old that have a hard time getting a job. Our designs are a solution to fashion since they are good for our health and for our planet

Alright, so our main goal today is to give our audience an update on what you have been up to since our last conversation. We’d love to hear how things are going and what you are most looking forward to or excited about these days.
A few years have passed since I started this adventure like everything in life there is good and bad. Unfortunately las year we were affected by the lack of education in recycling affecting our production
All the waste was dumped directly to rivers .
So we decided to search for other ways to keep designing sustainable fashion ,We came across a community that plants their own cotton and uses natural ancestral technique’s for dying and we added our new relax casual wear , basic fashion pieces that you can combine with anything in you clothes. Every piece is mix and match and you can buy piece by piece to create your own style.

We also want to give folks a chance to get to know you a bit better so we’ve prepared a fun lightning round of questions. Ready?
