Meet Samah Abukhodeir

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Samah Abukhodeir again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Samah , we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
I’m Samah Abukhodeir, a Miami-based attorney specializing in estate planning, probate, guardianship, and family law. I started my own law firm because I wanted to offer a more personalized and client-focused approach—helping people navigate what can be overwhelming legal processes with clarity and confidence.
What sets me apart? I genuinely care about educating and empowering my clients. I want them to feel informed and in control of their decisions, not just like they’re signing papers without understanding what’s happening.
My journey into law was really driven by a passion for helping people, and over time, I found myself drawn to areas of law that directly impact families and individuals in meaningful ways. It’s been an incredible experience building a practice that prioritizes relationships, trust, and solutions that truly make a difference.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Things have been really exciting since we last connected! Our firm has grown in so many ways. We’ve expanded our legal team, which has been incredible for handling more cases and continuing to provide top-notch service to our clients. On a personal note, we also expanded our family! I welcomed another child and was fortunate enough to take nearly six months of maternity leave, which was such a special time.
Even with all that change, the firm has been thriving. We took our entire team on a retreat to the Bahamas, which was an amazing way to recharge and bond outside the office. And one of the biggest milestones? We officially opened another office in Port Charlotte, expanding our reach and making our services even more accessible.
It’s been a whirlwind, but I’m so grateful for how things have evolved—both personally and professionally. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next as we continue to grow!

What do you want people to remember about you and your brand? What are some of things that you feel are most important, unique, special, etc?
At the core of everything I do—both as an attorney and as a person—I want people to remember that I’m an attorney, entrepreneur, professor, wife, and mom. The legal process can be overwhelming, especially when it involves family matters, and my goal has always been to guide people through it with compassion, clarity, and dedication.
What makes my firm unique is that we’re not just about legal solutions—we’re about relationships. I chose law because I believe everyone deserves a voice—especially during life’s most difficult moments. For me, this isn’t just a profession; it’s a calling. My journey has been about breaking barriers and making sure that families, no matter their background or circumstances, have someone who truly understands them. We take the time to understand our clients, educate them, and make sure they feel supported every step of the way. Whether it’s estate planning, probate, or guardianship, I want people to feel confident and empowered in their decisions. We also speak multiple languages—whether that’s English, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic—because being heard in your own language matters.
Most of all, I hope my legacy is one of impact. Helping families, protecting futures, and making a difference in people’s lives when they need it most.
