We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamara Iban and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamara, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Ok, let me talk about my baby: The most important factor behind the success of Clandestinemood is our commitment to creating unforgettable first-time experiences within a niche that was largely overlooked. Many of the women who attend our events are stepping into something completely new — whether it’s discovering a unique workout, engaging in an intimate wellness session, or connecting with like-minded individuals in a luxurious, curated setting.
By offering these first-time moments and fostering a sense of belonging, we’ve built a brand that sparks excitement, curiosity, and lasting memories. Our dedication to quality, personalization, and authenticity has allowed us to grow organically and create a meaningful impact.

What should our readers know about your business?
Clandestinemood was born from my experience working in marketing for one of the most iconic brands in sports. I saw a gap — there wasn’t a brand creating elevated, one-of-a-kind experiences exclusively for women. We recognized the niche from the start, and by truly listening to our community and learning from trial and error, we knew we had something special.

Our secret, first-time experiences resonate not only with women seeking something new but also with brands eager to connect authentically. It hasn’t been easy — like any startup, we’ve faced challenges. But the biggest lesson I’ve learned is simple: never quit. Believing in your vision, even when things get tough, is what moves the needle.

Clandestinemood isn’t just about events; it’s about creating moments of discovery, connection, and empowerment. And that’s what keeps us going every single day.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Miami, we’d kick things off with coffee at Novela in Wynwood, followed by lunch at Italica and an afternoon exploring Wynwood’s art scene. Dinner at KYU would be the perfect way to end the day.

Day two would start with a Barry’s Bootcamp class, then smoothie bowls at Pura Vida and some sun at South Pointe Beach. Lunch at Joia Beach and sunset drinks at Smith & Wollensky would wrap up the day.

For a more relaxed day three, we’d do a morning Pilates session at Reforming Pilates, then brunch at Cecconi’s. After a spa day at The Standard, Lucali’s famous pizza would be the perfect dinner choice.

Wynwood would call us back on day four for coffee at Panther Coffee, some boutique shopping, and lunch at Doya. Cocktails at Gramps and dinner at Cote Miami would keep the good vibes going.

On day five, we’d do another Pilates class, grab breakfast at Bachour, then enjoy lunch at Mandolin Aegean Bistro. Drinks at The Sylvester would close out the evening.

A boat day from Miami Beach Marina would kick off day six, with Monty’s Sunset for a laid-back lunch. Our final dinner would be a special one at Casa Tua or L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon.

For the last day, one more Pilates class followed by brunch at The Setai and a stroll through South Pointe Park would be the perfect Miami send-off

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to give a shoutout to the incredible coffee shop owners who pour their hearts into their businesses every single day. A special thanks to Novela and Libertino in Miami — their passion, dedication, and commitment to creating welcoming spaces are truly inspiring. There’s so much hard work behind the scenes, and it’s a constant reminder of what it means to build something with purpose and love. I’m grateful for the energy and community they bring to our city.
