We had the good fortune of connecting with Brady Curtin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brady, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I had a good friend of mine that had cancer and at the time I was just a broker for exotic car rentals, I promised him I would get him a car for a day so he could make a music video because he was a rapper. He unfortunately passed away and it ate away at me that I was in my own little bubble being busy and never made it happen when I easily could’ve , I just lost sight of important things like that trying to make it and it really bothered me so I decided to make my own company to make sure everyone got the chance to get into an exotic car because being behind the wheel of something like that is the most eye opening thing I’ve ever encountered, especially being from a small town like I’m from we don’t see that this stuff is possible besides online.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What separates me from others is being humble and choosing passion over profit . What’s gotten me to where I am today is by basing my business off relationships and connections. Whether it was making minimal money to make a connection or making nothing at all, I’ve always seen the bigger picture and that’s exactly what has gotten me to where I am today. That is also what im proud of , everyone told me I was crazy for not making money sometimes just to make a connection but I knew it would pay off one day. At the end of the day its not about what you know but about who you know . That also plays into the key ingredient I always say, people don’t care what you know until they know you care which also separates me, every client I have I treat like my best friend , I like to say I have 1000+ best friends because it’s true, I make sure everyone is seen and heard because that’s what we want as humans right? To know we’re not alone and understood.

Haha easy isn’t even in my vocabulary, I had struggled a lot to get to where I am today. Crying in the shower so no one saw anything , friends telling me I’m crazy and am I sure I’m doing the right thing and this and that. I overcame it by just never giving up. There is countless times where I had to take steps back and get a job because I was draining my mother but I still never gave up on the bigger picture even though I thought about it too many times to count. I think one of the key components of overcoming everything was me going from 280 pounds to 175. I always struggled with my image and never trusted myself because I couldn’t keep my word or do what I said I was going to do. Getting in shape and proving to myself I can do something is what truly showed me I can do whatever I put my mind to.

Lessons I’ve learned along the way are to don’t just trust anyone and to also just be kind to everyone. I use to be very hateful and negative. I had dreams of playing college football until I broke my ankle and was on crutches for 11 months which followed into My grandmother passing left me with questions which also followed with my good friend dying which also followed with the passing of my father, I always would wonder why god was doing these things, why I was put in the positions I’m in but I learned that he gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. I learned perspective is the biggest thing in life , life is too short and you need to control the controllable . Always be humble and kind and life will take you to unimaginable measures.

The only thing I want the world to know about me is that being a good person and working hard paired with never giving up will take you all the way. And also if I can do it , anyone can. I battled with mental problems for the longest time and it was all because I couldn’t win those little battles to ultimately win the war. I wouldn’t be who I am or where I’m at without these troubles and occurrences that happened in my life. You truly can do anything you put your mind to.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Beach and also just walking around looking at everything, watching expensive cars drive by. Your mind expands when you can see these things first hand and see that it’s not just social media and this is really peoples lives! The beach because it shows how Beautiful and peaceful this world is when you look at it that way.

Also Komodo because I think everyone needs to experience it !

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mother Lisa curtin. She has been my rock forever and has truly showed me what hard is all about. I can confidently say I would not be where I am today without her, from her being by my side the entire time to going back to school and pursuing her dream of being a nurse, sitting at the table working on her school work for 10-12 hours straight and never giving up. She raised me and my two siblings basically by herself while working 60-70 hours a week to make sure we had everything we wanted which included her sacrificing to make sure we had the best life possible. She is my hero and role model and has made me into the man I am today.
