We had the good fortune of connecting with Zen Flow and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zen Flow, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business really came from wanting to create something that combined both my nursing background and my passion for wellness. Working in the hospital setting, I saw firsthand how important hydration and recovery are — not just for sick patients, but for everyday people who are busy, active, and need to prioritize their health.

With Zen Flow Hydration, I wanted to build a brand that felt elevated, personalized, and convenient — something that made people feel like they were investing in themselves, not just getting a basic service. Miami is such a fast-paced city, and I felt there was a space for a luxury mobile hydration service that brings wellness directly to you — whether it’s for recovery, beauty, energy, or immunity. It’s about creating an experience, not just an IV.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career started in the hospital — I’ve been a registered nurse for years, working in high-pressure environments like cardiac step-down and critical care. That experience shaped everything for me. It taught me discipline, empathy, and how to think on my feet. But even with all that, I knew I wanted to do something more — something that gave me creative control and allowed me to promote wellness in a different way.

That’s what led me to start Zen Flow Hydration. I wanted to take everything I’ve learned in healthcare and use it to build a luxury mobile IV hydration service that prioritizes quality, safety, and client experience. It definitely hasn’t been easy — launching a business while balancing nursing and school has been a grind. But what kept me going was the bigger vision: bringing a new standard of self-care to Miami, one drip at a time.

What sets Zen Flow apart is the energy we bring — we’re not just giving IVs, we’re creating a vibe, an experience that makes people feel cared for and elevated. We show up with professionalism, but also with personality. We’re on a mission to make people feel better, recover faster, and invest in themselves — and that’s something I’ll always be proud of.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Miami for a week, I would definitely want to show them the full Miami experience — a little bit of everything that makes this city so special.

We’d start off the trip in Wynwood — grab brunch at Bakan or Mandolin, then walk around and check out the art, local shops, and vibe out at some of the lounges there. At night, I’d probably take them to Swan or Komodo for dinner — can’t visit Miami without a night out in Brickell or Design District.

We’d have to hit the beach one day — probably head to South Beach or even rent a boat and cruise around Miami’s waters, stop at some of the sandbars, and enjoy the views. For a more chill day, I’d take them to Coconut Grove — grab a coffee at Panther Coffee or have lunch at Glass & Vine and walk around the area.

For nightlife, Factory Town or Club Space is a must if they’re into the music scene — Miami’s energy at night is unmatched. But I’d also balance it out with a wellness day — maybe book them an IV hydration session with Zen Flow, a spa day, or even a workout at Anatomy.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely — I truly believe that no success story happens alone. I want to dedicate my shoutout to my family, close friends, and my circle of supporters who have believed in me from the very beginning. Starting Zen Flow Hydration wasn’t easy — it took a lot of long nights, sacrifices, and stepping outside of my comfort zone. But having people around me who constantly motivated me, gave me honest feedback, and reminded me of my purpose kept me grounded.

I also have to give credit to my experience as a nurse — working in healthcare shaped my mindset and work ethic. It taught me the importance of patience, resilience, and genuinely caring for people. Without that foundation and without the people who stood by me, Zen Flow wouldn’t be what it is today.
