We had the good fortune of connecting with Tatiana Zverieva and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tatiana, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Work-life balance has definitely evolved for me over time, especially as my business has grown. In the beginning, there really was no balance—I was doing it all. Taking clients all day, managing the studio, creating content, answering messages at midnight, and still trying to show up with energy and passion every single day. It was exciting, but also exhausting.

Over time, I learned that burnout isn’t a badge of honor, and that taking care of *me* is just as important as taking care of my clients and my business. I started building a team I trust, delegating more, setting boundaries, and being intentional with my time. Now, I try to prioritize rest, time with my loved ones, and moments that recharge me—because when I’m aligned and grounded, I’m a better leader, artist, and teacher.

To me, balance doesn’t mean a perfect 50/50 split every day. Some days I’m deep in work mode, other days I allow myself to fully unplug. It’s more about listening to what I need in each season and creating space for both ambition and joy.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Tati Lashes Studio, we’re more than just a beauty studio—we’re a space built on passion, precision, and purpose. What truly sets us apart is the care we pour into every detail, from the luxurious environment we’ve created to the deep trust we build with each client and student who walks through our doors.

I started this journey as an immigrant from Ukraine with a strong work ethic, big dreams, and zero shortcuts. I had to rebuild everything from the ground up when I moved to the U.S.—new language, new market, new life. I was working, studying, and taking lash clients all at the same time. It was far from easy. There were days I questioned everything, but I never gave up. I knew I had something valuable to offer.

Now, I’m proud to run a premium lash studio in Aventura, offer private trainings, and help other artists elevate their skills and confidence. I’ve won awards, been fully booked for months in advance, and taught dozens of incredible women—many of whom have gone on to start their own businesses.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned? Consistency and energy don’t lie. Show up with intention, take your craft seriously, and never stop learning. I want the world to know that my brand stands for excellence, authenticity, and empowerment. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ooh, if my best friend was visiting for a full week, we’d be living our best lives—glam, chill, fun, and unforgettable. Here’s how I’d plan the ultimate Miami/Fort Lauderdale experience, Tetiana-style:

🌴 Day 1 – Arrival + Relaxation at One Hotel
We’d kick things off with check-in at One Hotel in South Beach—it’s luxurious, eco-chic, and gives you main character energy the second you walk in. We’d head straight to the rooftop pool for a cocktail, some sun, and ocean views. Dinner would be lowkey but classy—maybe room service and wine on the balcony to ease into the trip.

🍣 Day 2 – Sexy Vibes at Sexy Fish
After a lazy beach morning, we’d get dressed up and head to Sexy Fish in Brickell. The vibe is next-level—opulent, artsy, and just cool. We’d go all in with sushi, cocktails, and definitely a cute bathroom selfie (because that bathroom is a moment).

🥂 Day 3 – Pool Day + Gecko Night
We’d do a fun pool day in Fort Lauderdale or chill at the beach. In the evening, we’d glam up and head to Gecko by Bad Bunny—vibes, music, amazing food, and the crowd is always on point. Latin fusion and a little dancing? Yes, please.

🍝 Day 4 – Joya + Sunset
We’d explore more local spots and have dinner at Joya—one of my favorite hidden gems with beautiful ambiance and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. After that, maybe a beach walk during sunset or a quiet wine night catching up.

💅 Day 5 – Self-Care + Studio Visit
It wouldn’t be a visit without stopping by Tati Lashes Studio for a little pampering! I’d treat my bestie to a lash set or brow styling (because obviously 😉). Afterward, we’d grab smoothies at Pura Vida or coffee from a cute local spot.

🍷 Day 6 – Maestro’s Night
Dinner at Maestro’s Ocean Club—because when you’re feeling fancy, nothing beats seafood and steak with a waterfront view. We’d dress up, order a bottle of wine, and have one of those long, deep convos that only happen over candlelight and great food.

🔥 Day 7 – MILA Finale
We’d end the trip with a BANG at MILA—my forever favorite. The rooftop ambiance, fire shows, cocktails, and delicious food make it the perfect final night. It’s a whole experience and always leaves people obsessed with Miami.

The whole week would be a mix of luxury, laughter, great food, beach time, girl talk, and glam moments. That’s my kind of balance—and I’d make sure my best friend leaves feeling spoiled, inspired, and already planning their next visit.

We push each other to grow, celebrate each other’s wins, and support one another like family. Whether it’s staying late to perfect a technique, hyping each other up before a big class or event, or stepping in when someone needs help—this team always shows up 110%.

They believed in the vision of Tati Lashes even before it was fully formed, and watching them flourish alongside the studio has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey.
