We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadia Vega and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve been passionate about beauty since I was 15. I grew up believing that the way you present yourself plays a huge role in how confident and empowered you feel. My mom always taught me the importance of taking care of myself and embracing my femininity. She would buy me makeup and trendy clothes to help me feel good in my own skin. Over the years, I became the go-to friend for all things beauty. I used to do my friends’ makeup for their parties, and even though it started as a hobby, I loved seeing their reaction in the mirror and how confident they looked afterward. It truly made me happy.

About eight years ago, a friend said to me, “Nadia, you do such an amazing job. You should start charging for this.” That moment pushed me to take the leap and turn something I loved into a business. Looking back, it was the best decision I could’ve made. I get to do what I’m passionate about every single day, and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for..

What should our readers know about your business?
The most important thing for me has always been client satisfaction. That is something I have built through a personalized service where I take the time to truly understand what my clients want to feel with their makeup. It is not just about the look, it is about how they want to feel when they see themselves in the mirror.

Most of my clients are looking for makeup that enhances their natural beauty and keeps them feeling like themselves. That is why I always ask the right questions to make sure I understand their vision and recreate a look that feels authentic to them.

I am constantly testing and researching the best makeup and skincare products to give them that flawless finish. Honestly, I probably spend more time in makeup stores than I do at home during my free time, and I love it.

One of the hardest moments in my journey was moving to the United States a year ago. Leaving my country and my family behind to start from zero in a place where everything felt different, from the culture to the language, was one of the biggest challenges I have faced. But I have overcome it thanks to the support of my husband and the amazing women I have met here. My clients have been so kind, respectful, and supportive from day one, and I will always be grateful for that.

What I hope the world sees in my brand is my essence and the care I have for each one of my clients. I do not see them as just another number. I put myself in their shoes and do everything I can to make them look and feel beautiful inside and out. Because makeup is not just about looking good on the outside, it is about reflecting that inner strength, confidence, and femininity that helps us face the world with power and grace.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I would make sure she experienced the best of South Florida. We would start with a day in Palm Beach, walking along Worth Avenue and having lunch at Sant Ambroeus or RH Rooftop. Then we would take a peaceful walk by the water on Lake Trail, where the views are absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset. There is something magical about that golden hour glow by the sea.

After that, we would go to The Gardens Mall for some shopping. Of course, we would stop by Sephora to try out new makeup and skincare. I probably spend more time there than I do at home on my days off. It is definitely my happy place.

We would also plan a beach day in Boca Raton or Fort Lauderdale to relax under the sun, listen to music, and catch up. One night, I would take her to dinner at Elisabetta’s in Delray Beach or to The Ray Hotel rooftop for drinks. The atmosphere is always fun and perfect for a girls’ night out.

We would include a spa day at Eau Palm Beach or The Breakers, because self-care is always a good idea. To end the trip, we would have a cozy night in with wine, good music, and of course I would do her makeup just for fun. There is nothing better than seeing someone you love feeling beautiful and confident.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my parents, who always believed in me and stood by every decision I’ve made. Their trust gave me the strength to follow my own path.

I’m also thankful for my son, who grew up watching me work hard to chase my dreams. He’s one of my biggest motivations and a constant reminder of why I do what I do. I’m so proud to show him the value of pursuing your passions.

I’m deeply thankful for my husband, who has been my rock since the day we got married. He has supported every decision I’ve made and has always encouraged me to keep chasing my dreams. His constant love and belief in me have made all the difference.

I’ll always appreciate my close friends who trusted me with their makeup long before I saw it as a business. Their support gave me the push I needed to take myself seriously as an artist.

And I’ll forever be thankful for my clients. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the chance to meet so many amazing women who have supported me and helped my business grow by recommending my work. That kind of love and trust means the world to me, both personally and professionally.
