Meet Michael Sadowsky | Visual Artist & Owner of AnimotisArt Creative Agency

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Sadowsky and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michael, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My businesses are rooted in creativity, culture, and connection. I produce accessible art events that spotlight underrepresented talent, and build nightlife and hospitality concepts that prioritize community, sustainability, and inclusivity. I create platforms that uplift emerging artists, foster meaningful human interaction, and reimagine social spaces as places of expression and shared experience. The goal is always to create something bigger than profit, something that brings people together and adds cultural value to the city.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My paintings are a representation of how I experience the world. I have synesthesia, which means I naturally blend senses. So, music, food, and energy often take on visual forms in my mind. That helps me translate emotion, rhythm, and even taste into color, movement, and composition on the canvas.
I’m just getting started, and where I am now is thanks to one thing: showing up. That, and having an incredible circle of friends. My friends have been the backbone of every show, every moment of growth, and every step forward. Their support has been the most powerful part of my journey.
What I want the world to know is this: you’re invited. My art is an open space for people to connect, explore, and be part of a community that values creativity, curiosity, and real human connection.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit, we’d start at Soho Beach House for drinks and beach hangs. Then head to Wynwood to explore murals, galleries, and catch whatever’s popping up that day. Dinner at Mandolin Aegean Bistro is a must for me. A beautiful setting and amazing Mediterranean food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely my parents. They always keep it real with me and never sugarcoat their feedback. That kind of honesty, love, and support plays a huge part in my growth, both personally and professionally. Whether I’m chasing big ideas or figuring things out from scratch, they’re always there to ground me and push me forward.
