Meet Madelaine | Acupuncture Physician/ Diplomate of Oriental Medicine/ Massage Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Madelaine and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Madelaine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always been very driven by my soul callings and starting my own business was definitely a call. My soul enjoys freedom, and though running my own business has over taken my time as a one woman show, I still get to take actions needed without having to answer to someone or asking for permission other than myself. With that said, I wanted to create a safe space to help my patients with their wellness needs and share my gifts with them freely. I knew I couldn’t show up fully for them unless I was able to start my on business. I was excited while taking the first steps and knew in my gut that everything will unfold divinely. It was a call, so I answered! And here I am.
I came up with the business name because the numbers “369” kept on showing up in my life. When I dug deeper on the meaning of “369” and starting realizing how entwine and aligned these numbers have been present throughout my personal life with it’s universal meaning, I knew they were meant to be part of my business name. So I created 369 Acupuncture & Wellness in May of 2021.
I have been practicing Massage for over 24 years and Acupuncture for 15 years now. I was ready to birth my own endeavor and create my baby.

What should our readers know about your business?
369 Acupuncture & Wellness is a one to one service where the total focus is on the patient during their scheduled appointment. It provides Acupuncture, Therapeutic Massages for pain management, Microneedling with herbal serums for natural facial rejuvenation, Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture, “Dry” Needling, Chinese Herbal Prescriptions, Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion Therapy, and much more. This business has grown through word of mouth from trusted patients without any marketing besides the words of recommendation. It has been an absolute blessing to be trusted, recognized, and shared by those who find real value in my services.
I’m not sure that it came easy because I have put a lot of work, time, and dedication into it, but it definitely expanded gracefully and exponentially! I have learned a lot from my patients. I recognize how important it is to build trust, be trusted, and hold accountability for everyone that seeks my help. I will always give my upmost professional advise and recommendations.
One thing I want the world to know about me is that I always do my best regardless of the outcome. I show up and do my best from where I’m at. I think that is why I am trusted. I am not afraid to use the words “I don’t know” because honesty is me still showing up and doing my best. I came to this world to be of help and I take that task seriously.
369 Acupuncture & Wellness was created so that the work of the divine can be done through it. To help God’s people, all people. Those that seek the services provided will find trusted and honest work. We need more light in this world so I built this business with that in my heart and mind. Like I said, it was a soul calling.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh Boy! There is so much to do in the area. Here in Miami, I would definitely take them to the beach, probably South Beach. We would definitely visit Wynwood for a taste of the arts, the ambiance, and definitely eat at Love Life Cafe for some delicious vegan food. We would take a day to do a sound bath, meditation session, incorporate breath work, be with nature, be adventurous with paddleboarding or kayaking, and definitely hit up the Vegan Cuban Cuisine to refuel our burnt calories. If their week long visit has a full moon in it, we will definitely be out that night by the ocean and moonlight. We would attend a candlelight piano show on another night. If we are in the mood for coffee, I would definitely introduce them to Brewing Buddha in Pinecrest and while in that area take a stroll in Matheson Hammock Park or explore Fairchild Gardens to then go grab a bite at Planta Queen in Coconut Grove. If we still have time, I’ll take them to Vizcaya to tour around the mansion. If they want, we can go to the Keys and/or drive out to Boca Raton, spend a day there. If in Boca, we gotta eat at Farmer’s Table and have dessert at Cinnaholics! Truly there are so many things to do, I would suggest and let them choose, of course!
