Hi Carmencita, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to be one of light, resilience, and connection. I want people to remember me as someone who showed up with joy, even on the hard days someone who made others smile when they needed it most.

As an international TV host, my mission goes beyond entertainment. I want to inspire others to believe in themselves, to chase their dreams no matter where they come from, and to remind them that their voice matters.

If someone watched me and thought, “If she did it, maybe I can too” that’s the impact I hope to leave behind.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My journey as a broadcast journalist and on-air host is rooted in purpose and passion. What sets me apart is that my work was born from a place of love — it started when my sister Gabriela had a life-changing accident. During her recovery, I created “El Show de Carmencita” to make her smile and help her escape reality, even for a moment. That small act of love sparked my calling: to entertain, uplift, and connect with others through storytelling.

Since then, I’ve built a career I’m truly proud of. As the host and creator of “Tu Cita con Carmencita,” I’ve had the honor of covering Latin American fashion, entertainment, and culture with authenticity and heart. It hasn’t been easy — building a name in this industry takes persistence, sacrifice, and vision — but every challenge has shaped me into the communicator I am today.

Today, I can proudly say I’ve gone from hospital room recordings to standing center stage — from runways to red carpets. I now receive invitations to Fashion Weeks across the world and walk the red carpets of major events like the Premio Lo Nuestro, Latin Grammys, where I get to celebrate and spotlight the creativity of our community.

I am building my legacy as an international on-air talent and working toward soon being on major screens around the world. I want to continue inspiring others to believe in their dreams, embrace their story, and never let go of their voice — because it matters.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love and support of those who’ve shaped my journey.

I want to dedicate this shoutout to my sister Gabriela, whose strength and resilience inspired me and helped me discover my purpose in becoming a broadcast journalist and on-air host.

To my parents, Roberto and Carmencita, thank you for always believing in me and for showing me the value of hard work and heart. And to my beautiful sisters Gabriela, Maria Fernanda, and Andrea, your love has been my foundation.

Lastly, to my special person, Tomás, thank you for being by my side since day one — your support continues to mean everything.
