We had the good fortune of connecting with Allison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Allison, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The principle that matters most to me is integrity. As a communicator, journalist, singer/songwriter and educator, I believe that honesty and authenticity are the foundation of trust. Whether I’m speaking on air, teaching, or interacting with others, I strive to be truthful and transparent. Integrity is essential not only for personal growth but also for making a meaningful impact on others. It ensures that my words align with my actions, allowing me to inspire and connect with people in a genuine way.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m truly honored to share my journey. My work is deeply rooted in faith, creativity, and a desire to inspire and uplift others. As a radio host, singer, and now author of Las Doncellas del Padre, my goal has always been to bring a message of hope and purpose, especially to women navigating the complexities of life and faith.

What sets me apart is my commitment to authenticity and service. I don’t create to impress—I create to connect. Whether through music, writing, or broadcasting, I aim to reach people’s hearts and remind them that they are loved, seen, and called to something greater. I infuse every project with prayer, passion, and purpose.

Getting here hasn’t been easy. Like many, I’ve faced seasons of uncertainty, self-doubt, and sacrifice. Balancing ministry, personal growth, and professional goals can be overwhelming, especially as a woman in leadership roles. But I’ve learned that perseverance, a strong foundation in God, and a supportive community make all the difference. Every challenge became a stepping stone, and every setback carried a lesson.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that success isn’t defined by numbers or recognition, but by obedience and impact. If even one life is touched by my story or work, it’s worth it.

What I want the world to know is this: my story is not about me—it’s about the God who transforms ordinary people for extraordinary purposes. My brand and mission are about lifting others up, helping them rediscover their identity in Christ, and encouraging them to walk boldly in their calling. I’m proud of where I’ve come from, excited about where God is leading me, and grateful for every opportunity to serve along the way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend from Miami were visiting me for a week, I’d plan a refreshing, inspiring, and joy-filled itinerary—something that blends beauty, faith, great food, and unforgettable memories.

Day 1 – A Warm Welcome
We’d start with a cozy welcome dinner at home or a charming local restaurant. I’d make sure the atmosphere is peaceful—soft music, candles, and space to unwind after the trip. We’d talk, laugh, and maybe end the night watching a faith-based movie or having a quiet devotional moment together.

Day 2 – Beachside Serenity
Nothing compares to a good beach day. I’d take them somewhere calm and beautiful—ideal for walking barefoot in the sand, praying together, and just letting go of stress. We’d pack a picnic, bring our journals, and enjoy God’s creation in the waves and the wind.

Day 3 – Culture & Creativity
We’d explore some art or history—maybe a museum or local gallery—and then do something hands-on, like a painting class or pottery. It’s the perfect way to reconnect with our inner child and just have fun! We’d grab coffee at a cute café and share dreams and creative ideas.

Day 4 – Food, Faith & Laughter
This day would be dedicated to discovering amazing food—brunch, dessert, and maybe a dinner spot with live music or an outdoor patio. In between, we’d visit a Christian bookstore or prayer room, and spend time worshipping or just being still in God’s presence.

Day 5 – Nature & Reflection
A scenic nature walk or visit to a botanical garden would be perfect to slow down and soak in the peace. We’d take photos, laugh about old memories, and thank God for where He’s brought us. That night, maybe a bonfire or candlelight talk about life, purpose, and faith.

Day 6 – Sisterhood Celebration
We’d dress up and go out to a beautiful dinner—nothing fancy, just a celebration of friendship, growth, and everything we’ve experienced together. I’d surprise her with a small gift or letter to honor our bond and faith journey.

Day 7 – Gratitude & Goodbyes
The last day would be slow and intentional. Maybe brunch at a quiet spot, time to pray over each other, and journal lessons from the week. We’d take one last photo together and promise to keep living boldly for Christ—no matter the distance.

What I cherish most is creating meaningful experiences—not just “fun” moments, but soul-nourishing ones. I want my friends to leave feeling seen, loved, refreshed, and closer to God.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I want to give all the glory to God, who has guided my path and given me the strength to pursue my dreams. I am deeply grateful to my entire family, whose unconditional love and support have been my foundation. I also want to recognize several incredible individuals who have played a significant role in my journey.

A special shoutout to the talented Colombian journalist Alma Pineda, I also deeply appreciate the CEO Marybel Torres of La Nota Latina for their vision and dedication to storytelling, who have both been great influences in my career; as well as my friend Rafael Martínez, the Nicaraguan CEO of Radio Restauración Tampa, Florida, who has given me valuable opportunities in broadcasting. Additionally, I want to recognize John D. Ramos, the Puerto Rican CEO of CoEs Radio Miami, for his leadership and encouragement.

I cannot forget the amazing Dominican stylist and beauty expert Marisol Casola, whose talent and kindness are truly admirable. And, of course, I want to thank all my friends from church and my personal life, as well as my incredible followers, for their unwavering support, prayers, and encouragement.

Each of these people has contributed to my journey in unique and meaningful ways, and I am beyond grateful for their presence in my life.
