Meet ALLISON ESPINOZA | Actor, Dancer and a Photo Booth Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with ALLISON ESPINOZA and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ALLISON, how do you think about risk?
I didn’t plan on living in the United States. But life led me here a little over six years ago with a suitcase full of hope and a strong desire to build something meaningful from the ground up. Looking back, that moment, choosing to stay, to start fresh in an unfamiliar place, was one of the boldest risks I’ve taken.
At 25, I was at a point where I wanted to do so much, where my convictions were strong, but uncertainty was even stronger. Taking risks meant making tough decisions with no guarantees. Still, something inside me kept saying, “Everything will be okay.”
That belief carried me through the early challenges, and it taught me that every step forward in life and career requires a certain level of risk. It’s in those moments of uncertainty where we discover what we’re truly capable of.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Reaching the point where I can run a business while sustaining both my acting and dancing careers has been anything but easy.
It’s taken a lot of hard work, but also a deep excitement for learning something new, and a strong inner drive. I think that drive has been my fuel through it all. I’ve learned to recognize it, harness it, and face future challenges without fear.
That said, the challenges are real.
The first and biggest one I had to overcome was learning how to balance my personal life with my work. But I’m proud of the person I’ve become, someone who now enjoys the journey rather than obsessing over the destination. I still have so much I want to accomplish.
It’s been almost three years since I started my photo booth company, and I’ve loved every moment of being in the creative space. My acting journey is just beginning, and as for dance, it’s been part of my life for a while now, with all its ups and downs.
There were moments when I wanted to give up, to walk away from it all. But the biggest lesson I’ve learned is this: taking the easy path only makes things harder in the long run, because I’ll never be truly happy doing something I don’t love. I tried that once—and it didn’t work.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Miami for a week, here’s how I’d show them the best time ever:
Day 1 – We’ll definitely go to beach. We will have lunch at “Locura Marina” in Miami Beach and at night we could have a little visit on Lincoln Road
Day 2 – Explore Wynwood Walls and walk around to see the street art and murals.
Visit Superblue Miami. Grab som cocktails at “The Citadel”
Day 3 – Have a walk on Ocean drive and visit south point. Definitely go to “Flanigans”
Day 4 – Rent a boat or join a group boat tour to explore Biscayne Bay and the sandbars.
Latin night at Ball and Chain
Day 5 – Brunch at Bistro Cafe
Relax night at “Magic 13 Brewing Co”
Day 6 –Take a Salsa Class in my Home Studio of course. ” Planeta Dance Company”
Day 7 – Farmer’s Market at Legion Park, grab pastries and organic goodies.
End the trip with a sunset picnic at South Pointe Park

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
