We had the good fortune of connecting with Yinet Montesino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yinet, can you tell us about an impactful book you’ve read and why you liked it or what impact it had on you?
The Bible.

There are so many life lessons in that book that shapes why I make efforts to live a creative life.

First, I understand that God has given me the ability to produce wealth. So irregardless of any situation, wealth can be produced. So I hussle knowing it can be done.

It speaks of getting wisdom, knowledge and understanding all which are important to be an entrepreneur. Consistently learning. So many other things.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Truly, it is a matter of God’s grace. I was the first one in my family to graduate from college. Growing up in the hood, all odds seemed to have been against me. Nothing has been easy yet I have walked the path. I am the brand. I, Yinet Montesino, have learned to get creative. I am my business. I do a little bit of everything. Starting out in real estate, notary, uber, customer service and many other side gigs. I have not arrived to one great idea. But all these small ones have allowed me to travel the world. Most importantly, to preach the gospel while doing it. My goal is to encourage christian men and women to expand their visions and live life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Friday: I’m more on the adventurous spot. I would take them to hallandale beach to watch the sunrise, we can eat simple breakfast (doesn’t need to be fancy). Then we will go to hollywood blvd for lunch and perhaps an escape room or bowling games. Have some boba tea. And one of our church meetings to end the night.

Saturday: main attractions could be a lunch at an all you can eat place, and maybe organizing a group hangout/game night.. and a nice meal from one of my favorite dominican food truck.

Sunday: church, lunch on biscayne blvd, mexican or italian spot. Then a walk in the mall and a movie night to call it a night.

It’s about quality not quantity. And it doesn’t have to be super fancy.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
One of my previous coaches, Sarah Rondon helped realize that God has put in us what we need. That we must act inspite of fear. She is a Christian Artist, Coach, Influencer etc.
