We had the good fortune of connecting with Ronit Schwartz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ronit, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly, it started pretty organically. I was helping my husband with his financial advisory work for years—what began as support slowly turned into something more hands-on. I found myself doing more than just the backend work; I was building relationships with his clients, asking the questions no one else was asking, helping them feel seen, asking for their goals and passion- it changed the landscape of their finances to be more strategic and personalized.

Coming from a background in nursing, I’ve always approached people with a sense of care. As a pediatric nurse practitioner, I taught my staff that how you treat people matters—that the care is just as important as the clinical skill. And somewhere along the way, I realized: there’s no reason business can’t be the same.

That was the turning point for me. I started to see that there was a better way to do business—one rooted in real connection, trust, and clarity. I saw the gaps, where clients were being treated like line items or balance sheets instead of people trying to build something meaningful. So I brought what I knew—compassion, clarity, critical thinking—and merged it with the financial world my husband was already thriving in.

That’s how Aryeh Strategic Partners was born- I told my husband my idea and he initially stated it was a hard sell as CARE is a four letter word in business. But I persisted and created the whole brand and mission statement, even opening up the LLC it would run under. It was about taking care of businesses the way we take care of patients: looking at the whole picture, not just the symptoms. For me, it’s always been about more than the numbers.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Aryeh Strategic Partners is a financial oversight and business strategy firm—but we like to say we’re in the business of clarity. We work with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and scaling companies to bring order to the financial chaos, map out what’s next, and help them lead with strategy instead of stress.

What truly sets us apart is how we step in when others step back. One of our most impactful offerings is business turnaround strategy—helping businesses that are struggling or at a breaking point find solid financial footing, restructure operations, and move forward with renewed purpose. We don’t just stabilize—we rebuild for long-term success.

But beyond services, it’s our approach that makes the difference. We’re not just accountants or advisors—we’re partners. We listen like nurses, think like strategists, and execute like CFOs. Our model is built on what we call CARE: Clarity, Accountability, Resilience, and Execution/Empathy. That mindset guides everything we do, and it’s what our clients feel from day one.

When we launched Aryeh, we had zero clients and no marketing budget—just a website and a belief that we could do finance differently. No gimmicks, no flashy ads. But word spread quickly. Clients were telling others, “This doesn’t feel like working with an accountant—this feels like I have a real partner.” They appreciated the on-demand advisory, the forward-thinking approach, and the way we tied their financials to actual business goals. Within six months, we grew faster than we could’ve imagined—entirely through word of mouth.

I’m most proud of the transformation we’ve helped create—not just in books and balance sheets, but in the lives and confidence of business owners. Watching someone go from feeling buried to feeling in control? That’s everything.

Was it easy? Not even close. I didn’t come from a finance background—I am a pediatric nurse practitioner. But I believed that business, like medicine, should be built on trust, strategy, and care. Merging that with my husband’s financial expertise gave us something unique—and it’s worked.

There were moments of doubt, and plenty of steep learning curves, but I leaned on what I knew from the healthcare world: when it’s critical, you stay calm, assess, and act with purpose. That mindset has carried me every step of the way.

If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s this: Aryeh isn’t just about cleaning up books—it’s about rewriting business stories. We help companies lead with intention, scale with strategy, and build legacies they’re proud of. Because in a world driven by data, it’s still how you care that sets you apart.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh this is a fun one- all trips start with coffee and my new favorite coffee shop is located in coconut grove- Basquet ( their latte with oat milk and vanilla maple cold foam is incredible)- a walk around coconut grove is always a treat and I would absolutely have dinner at luca osteria in coral gables. Day two would be all about shopping, the design district is perfect but Wynwood is even better for smaller boutique like stores and we can see the walls of Wynwood as they are always different – coffee at Panther coffee and a cookie from night owl as a treat, dinner would be at KYU for their chicken sandwich. Day three would be centered in south beach- its a beach day almost every day in Miami and day three is a good rest day to hit some sun. Breakfast at market at the edition hotel and coffee from Cortadito coffee house. Dinner and drinks at the surf club is a must- starting in the champagne bar. By day four there might be a need to shop again and honestly both aventura mall and Bal harbour are great to walk around. I would save the mall for later in the day as its indoors and air conditioned but starting at bal harbour with coffee from avenue 31 cafe followed by lunch at hillstone- the spinach dip is a fan favorite of mine. End the day at aventura mall and dinner at Motek for an easy extremely yummy meal. Day 5 the brickell city center is fun to walk around and food is a plenty- starting with joe and the juice for coffee and a tuna sandwich and then dinner at amara at paraiso (although brunch is incredible as well there)- day 7 back to the beach to perfect the tan before heading home.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost is the book “if Disney ran your hospital, 9 1/2 things you would do differently” by Fred Lee- this was my absolute mantra as a nurse and then it became how I shaped Aryeh Strategic Partners. The client experience is the most important thing that shapes perception and satisfaction and its the absolute basis and foundation for how I cared as bedside nurse, how i led various departments in the hospital and how I now formed and run Aryeh.

There are also countless people and experiences that helped me in my story, but my foundation in nursing is at the heart of it all. What set my journey apart was the diversity of departments I worked in—each one gave me a new lens on what it means to truly care, and each helped shape my vision.

In pediatrics, I learned to communicate with compassion and precision. You don’t just care for the child—you support the entire family. You learn how to listen between the lines, to pick up on nonverbal cues, and to advocate fiercely for those who can’t advocate for themselves.

In education, I learned how to break down complex ideas into actionable knowledge—something I carry with me when walking clients through financial strategies or organizational restructuring.

In research, I developed a deep respect for data. I saw how important it was to measure outcomes, not just intentions—and how evidence-based practice could improve both care and decision-making.

In patient relations, I learned how to manage expectations, de-escalate tension, and create trust—even in high-stress or emotionally charged environments. It taught me that the experience people have with you often matters just as much as the outcome you deliver.

In quality improvement, I was trained to constantly evaluate systems, find inefficiencies, and raise the standard of care—not just for individuals, but across an organization. That mindset of continuous improvement is now baked into the way we work with our business clients.

In management, I learned how to lead teams, delegate, mentor, and hold people accountable while also creating a culture that people actually wanted to be a part of.

In hospitality, I learned the subtle power of presence—the way details, tone, and delivery can completely shift how someone feels. That human touch is something I now bring into every client interaction.

And in marketing, I learned how to tell a story. Whether it’s a brand or a business or a mission, people connect to emotion, values, and voice. That understanding has helped me build messaging and branding for Aryeh that’s as authentic as it is strategic.

But if there’s one person who truly helped bridge the gap between my nursing career and my path into business, it’s Irene Macyk. Irene was a nursing director who saw something in me and gave me the opportunity to explore beyond the bedside. She introduced me to budgets, financial planning, department operations—all the behind-the-scenes pieces that keep a healthcare system running.

She was the first to show me that you could be a compassionate caregiver and a strategic leader. That numbers and heart don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Irene helped me reimagine what leadership could look like—and ultimately, she helped lay the groundwork for Aryeh Strategic Partners.

So my shoutout is to Irene, and to every department I had the privilege of working in. Together, they shaped my understanding of CARE—not just as a feeling, but as a framework for my business.
