We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy Kelly and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly, it came from my own breakdown. I reached a crisis point where I completely lost myself – I didn’t know who I was anymore or what I wanted from life. I was living in a life that looked fine on the outside but felt completely misaligned on the inside. I realized I wasn’t living for me.
Instead of staying stuck in that darkness, I made the bold decision to leave everything I knew and solo travel through Central and South America. I committed to figuring out who I really was beneath all the expectations and conditioning.
During that transformative journey, especially while volunteering, something beautiful started happening. I began rediscovering my true self, but what really opened my eyes was meeting so many young women who were feeling the same – lost, stuck, craving something more. They kept gravitating toward me for advice and support. I became their go-to person without even trying.
That’s when it clicked – this wasn’t just about me healing myself. It was bigger. I realized I had this intuitive ability to guide people through their own reset moments, particularly around rebuilding confidence after major life changes.
Starting my business wasn’t just about coaching – it was about turning everything I’d lived through into something useful. I wanted to be the voice I needed when I was sitting in the dark, wondering what’s next. Now I help women reset their lives and rise again – with clarity, confidence, and freedom.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is built on one core belief: that our biggest breakdowns can become our most powerful breakthroughs. What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach confidence from theory — I’ve lived every single piece of the transformation I guide my clients through. I specialize in helping women navigate that messy, confusing space after major life changes when you’re not who you used to be, but you’re not sure who you’re becoming either.
What I’m most proud of is creating a safe space where women can completely fall apart and rebuild themselves authentically. I don’t offer quick fixes or surface-level motivation. Instead, I help women do the deep work of rediscovering who they truly are beneath all the expectations and conditioning. My clients don’t just gain confidence — they gain unshakeable self-trust.
Business-wise, getting here definitely wasn’t easy, and it started with one of the scariest decisions of my life. When I left for my solo travels, I was terrified. I had never even eaten alone in a restaurant, so traveling to the other side of the world by myself felt impossible. I had to break down so many barriers I had built around what I thought I was capable of. What was supposed to be a couple of months away turned into 18 months — I couldn’t return home because I was finally learning to live at a slower pace, to heal on my own timeline, and to appreciate the small things that actually matter.
That journey taught me that real transformation can’t be rushed. When I started coaching, the biggest challenge was believing I deserved to charge for something that felt so natural to me. I had to overcome my own limiting beliefs about money, success, and whether my story was ‘enough’ to help others.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that authenticity is your greatest business asset. The more vulnerable and real I became about my own journey, the more my ideal clients found me. I also learned that building a business while still healing yourself requires incredible self-compassion — you can’t pour from an empty cup.
What I want the world to know is that it’s never too late to completely reinvent your life. You don’t have to stay stuck in a version of yourself that no longer fits. My brand is about giving women permission to choose themselves, even when it’s scary, even when others don’t understand. Because on the other side of that courage is a life that actually feels like yours.

To me, Miami is more than palm trees and parties — it’s a portal. It holds space for women in transformation, creatives in evolution, and dreamers coming back to life. That’s the energy I’d want my best friend to feel.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely I’ve had so many soul-shifting influences on this path. First, I have to shout out the incredible women I met during my travels from hostels to volunteering sites to cafes around the world including Central and South America. They were the ones who first trusted me with their stories, their fears, and their dreams, and they reminded me I wasn’t alone in my unraveling. Without even realizing it, they were showing me my purpose and giving me the confidence to believe I could actually help people transform their lives.
I also want to recognize the coaches, mentors, and authors who held space for me when I was rebuilding — both the ones I met in person and the voices in books that became my lifelines. Their belief in my voice, even before I fully believed in it myself, helped me find the strength to turn my pain into purpose. They gave me frameworks for understanding what I was going through and showed me that our breakdowns can become our biggest breakthroughs.
But I have to give the biggest shoutout to my friends and family back home who stood by me through everything. Even though I haven’t been around much, to this day they are my biggest supporters. My family’s support and love has been everything, I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. They believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself.
And lastly, I’d dedicate this to the version of me who reached that crisis point and chose to leave everything with a broken heart and no plan. She cracked everything open so I could build something new. Every client I support now is a thank you to her and to every woman who has ever felt completely lost after a major life change.
