Meet Thais Cervantes | Animal Advocate & Actress

We had the good fortune of connecting with Thais Cervantes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Thais, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My business creates social impact through animal advocacy, especially in support of stray cats in Miami. Every day, I feed and care for dozens of street animals, many of whom are abandoned, sick, or injured. This mission is at the heart of everything I do.
Through my platform, I raise awareness, educate the public, and inspire others to take action. My dream is to transform Miami into a model city for animal protection, one act of kindness at a time.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Since I was a child in Brazil, art has always been my refuge and my form of expression. I began my artistic career at the age of 8 and have been walking this path with love, persistence, and purpose ever since. Today, I live in the United States and continue my journey as an actress, model, writer, and creator of original projects that unite art, female empowerment, and animal activism.
What sets me apart is my vision of using art as a tool for transformation. I’m currently developing projects for 2025 that reflect this mission — including a solo performance inspired by the Egyptian goddess Bastet, focused on the cause of stray cats in Miami, and Phoenix Collection, a brand that represents rebirth, feminine strength, and connection with nature. These creations are being carefully built to inspire, raise awareness, and transform lives.
My journey hasn’t been easy — starting over in another country, with a new language and culture, required courage, faith, and resilience. But every challenge taught me the importance of staying true to my essence and transforming vulnerability into creative power.
I want the world to know the strength behind my work: living, honest art that touches, heals, and empowers. I am here to leave a positive mark in the world — with soul, courage, and purpose.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, I’d plan the most magical and unforgettable week here in Miami! 🌴☀️
We’d start the trip with a sunrise walk at South Pointe Park, followed by breakfast at Pura Vida – their açaí bowls are amazing! Then we’d spend the day relaxing on South Beach, enjoying the sun and the art deco vibes. In the evening, we’d go for drinks at Sugar Rooftop in Brickell – the view is breathtaking!
We’d visit the Pérez Art Museum for some culture, and spend time at Wynwood Walls for street art, vibrant photos and creative inspiration. For shopping and people-watching, we’d hit Lincoln Road and the Design District.
One day, we’d take a boat tour around Biscayne Bay to admire the skyline and celebrity homes, then dine at Joe’s Stone Crab – a Miami classic. On another day, we’d explore Coconut Grove and Vizcaya Museum, and maybe have a sunset picnic at Key Biscayne. 🌅
We’d also try yoga on the beach, visit Little Havana for Cuban coffee and live music, and finish the week dancing at a Latin club in Downtown.
Miami is a fusion of cultures, colors, music and nature – and that’s what I’d want her to experience most. 💃🌺🌊

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to all the street animals that changed my life. Especially the cats of Miami—each one of them taught me compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. They inspired me to speak for those who don’t have a voice.
I also want to thank the amazing women and friends who walk this path with me—feeding, rescuing, and protecting animals every day. You know who you are, and your hearts are gold. This mission wouldn’t exist without your help, love, and belief in this cause.
