Meet Chersonese Archange | Founder of Cher Archange Beauty Championing Organic Hair Care & Self-Love Through Clean, Conscious Beauty

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chersonese Archange and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chersonese, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Growing up, my sisters and I relied on perms and harsh chemicals to manage our hair, but over time, the damage became too much. I made the bold decision to cut it all off and start fresh. That moment sparked my journey to find healthier, more natural hair care solutions—but it wasn’t easy.

I struggled to find products that worked for my hair and supported its health. When people started asking what I used and complimenting my hair, I realized I wasn’t alone. That’s when the idea for Cher Archange Beauty was born.

I wanted to create something real—effective, clean products that empower people to embrace their natural beauty. For me, this business isn’t just about hair care—it’s about healing, confidence, and legacy.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Cher Archange Beauty is more than just a hair care brand—it’s a reflection of my journey, my values, and my deep commitment to wellness and authenticity. What sets us apart is our focus on creating organic, vegan, and cruelty-free products that work for all hair types and for both women and men. Every formula is made with care, especially for people like myself who have allergies and sensitivities. I wanted to create something clean and effective, without compromise.

Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy, especially as a Black woman in an industry that hasn’t always been inclusive. Starting a business, building a brand from the ground up, and trying to earn trust and recognition came with many obstacles. But I held on tightly to my vision. I knew what I wanted to bring to the world, and I refused to let others define what I was capable of.

The challenges taught me a lot—mainly that you can’t do it all on your own. Having a strong support system and a reliable team makes all the difference. I also learned how important it is to truly understand the industry you’re stepping into before you launch anything. Preparation and persistence are key.

I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve created and excited for what’s to come. More than anything, I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming and the legacy I’m building—not just for myself, but for future generations. I want the world to know that Cher Archange Beauty is rooted in purpose, healing, and empowerment—and that no matter who you are, you deserve to feel confident in your own skin.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d want to give them the full Miami experience—equal parts relaxing, inspiring, and unforgettable.

We’d start with the obvious: a beach day. There’s nothing like letting the sun kiss your skin while listening to the waves. It’s the perfect welcome to Miami’s vibrant, coastal energy.

We’d explore the Miami Design District, which is full of art, culture, and style. It’s one of my favorite spots—great for walking, discovering new designers, and grabbing a chic photo or two.

For brunch or dinner, I’d take them to Jaya at The Setai—the food, the ambiance, the vibes… it’s a whole experience. Whether we’re sipping cocktails or enjoying a candlelit dinner, it’s always a moment.

No trip would be complete without a spa day, so I’d book us a luxurious massage and wellness treatment—the perfect way to unwind and reset.

Throughout the week, we’d mix in rooftop lounges, maybe a little dancing, and good conversations over great food. Miami has a little bit of everything, but for me, it’s about feeling good, being present, and sharing that energy with the people I love.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely—I wouldn’t be where I am today without the grace and support of others.

First and foremost, I want to thank God for giving me the strength to stay consistent, even when the journey felt impossible. My faith has been my foundation.

I also want to dedicate this shoutout to my family, especially my father, Alteus Archange. Though he’s no longer here on earth, he continues to be my hero. The values, work ethic, and example he set for me growing up still guide me every day.

To my best friend Bianca Pierre—thank you for being in my corner through it all, for your unwavering support and belief in me.

I’m also deeply grateful for T. Harv Eker and his book Secrets of the Millionaire Mind. That book truly shifted my mindset and helped me reframe my relationship with success and abundance.
