We had the good fortune of connecting with Jackie Pesce Sieron and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jackie, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I love this question and it’s an easy one to answer for me. I’d like to be so authentically myself (without ever feeling the need to explain myself to anyone) that everyone around me feels like they can be their authentic selves as well. I want the concept of just being true to who you are, the good the bad the ugly, to spread to anyone that I meet.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I got to where I am today, almost 5 years into starting Chasing Sun Creative, by being genuinely passionate and excited about the work I’m doing and by being genuinely interested in what’s happening in the social media space. Honestly the cliche is true that when you love what you do it doesn’t necessarily feel like work every day.
Does it mean it’s been easy? NO, but nothing worthwhile in life is easy…I’ve sure as hell learned that. I overcome the challenges by believing in myself and getting the right support from hiring a good team.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of my favorite spots in Miami is Mandolin aegean bistro in the design district, as a real Greek I can attest to how legit and delicious the food is!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m going to take a note out of Snoop Dog’s book and honestly answer this by saying:
“I wanna thank me
I wanna thank me for believing in me
I wanna thank me for doing all this hard work
I wanna thank me for having no days off
I wanna thank me for, for never quitting”
