Meet Priscilla Del Castillo | Model,Body Neutralist,&Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Priscilla Del Castillo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Priscilla, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Coming from a proud Cuban-American background. Growing up in a vibrant, culturally rich household shaped so much of who I am,My confidence, my creativity, and my deep love for community and self-expression.
Being raised in Miami taught me how to show up boldly and unapologetically, while also staying grounded in gratitude and family values. That foundation has influenced every part of my journey, from modeling and content creation to the work I now do in marketing and wellness.
Living in New York for nearly a decade also pushed me to hustle harder, think bigger, and believe that I could create opportunities wherever I go. Now, being back in Miami, I bring that same energy,But with even more clarity on who I am and how I want to show up for others.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is rooted in presence, confidence, and the beauty of authenticity. As a plus-size model, content creator, and storyteller, I use my platform to celebrate bodies like mine bodies that have been historically overlooked or misunderstood in the fashion and wellness spaces. What sets me apart is how deeply I connect my work to intention. Whether I’m in front of the camera or behind the scenes creating strategy for a brand, everything I share is about being seen truly seen.
I’m most proud of how I’ve grown a platform that centers softness and power. There’s nothing more rewarding than getting a DM from someone saying, “You helped me feel confident in my body again” or “Because of you, I wore the bikini.”
Getting here wasn’t easy. I’ve been underestimated, told to shrink, or made to feel like I had to wait for permission to take up space. But I pushed through by staying grounded in who I am, leaning into community, and constantly reminding myself that my worth isn’t tied to anyone’s approval. I also had the fierce support of my family especially my mom and aunt
who reminded me every step of the way that I deserve to walk into every room like I belong there.
Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned? Consistency over perfection. Rest is part of the work. And your voice is powerful even when it shakes.
What I want the world to know about me is that this isn’t just about pretty pictures. It’s about rewriting the narrative of who gets to be called beautiful, desirable, successful. My brand and story are about visibility, self-worth, and creating space for the next generation to feel even freer than I did.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit Miami for a week, we’d keep it real local gems, good food, beach days, and a little bit of luxury.
We’d kick things off with sandwiches at Sanguich de Miami, cafecito included, then walk around Little Havana to soak in the culture. For dinner one night, we’re definitely hitting Boia De tiny spot, big flavors. Another night it’s Lung Yai Thai (just know you gotta order everything at once).
We’d have a beach day at Crandon Park or head up to North Beach to avoid the crowds. At least one day is reserved for a little luxury Helloooo, Faena Spa. We’d spend hours there just relaxing in the hammam and living our best lives.
For fun nights out, we’d keep it cute and casual: wine and live music at Lagniappe, a little dancing at Gramps, and maybe rooftop drinks at The Sylvester.
We’d probably sneak in a boat day, hit the bay, and wrap up the trip with sunset views at Rusty Pelican. Simple, soulful, and very MIAMIII

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Without a doubt, my biggest shoutout goes to my family, especially my mom and my aunt. These two women are the foundation of everything I am. They raised me with strength, love, and an unshakable belief in my potential, even when I couldn’t see it myself.
My mom showed me what resilience looks like in real time. She taught me how to move with grace, stay grounded in my values, and never apologize for taking up space. And my aunt? She’s been like a second mother, My cheerleader, my sounding board, and one of the fiercest examples of loyalty and unconditional support I’ve ever known.
They’ve both sacrificed so much and poured into me emotionally, spiritually, and sometimes even financially so that I could chase my dreams without holding back. Every opportunity I have today is because of the foundation they helped build, and I carry their strength with me in every room I walk into.
