We had the good fortune of connecting with Donyale Mills and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Donyale, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business in the loan signing and apostille industry was driven by a combination of personal experiences and a desire for flexibility and freedom.

I have always been interested in helping others while also allowing for a degree of independence. After wearing many different hats within the real estate industry, I realized that the loan signing field and apostille facilitation offered exactly that. The services I offer are crucial to real estate transactions, legal documentation, international business, and many other sectors. We live in a world where people are often too busy or not able to travel to sign documents in person or find the correct resources needed for international business endeavors so there is a real opportunity to make an impact while also educating and supporting the public.

Being able to create my own schedule was incredibly appealing. I wanted a business that allowed me to be in control of my time and my income while also offering valuable services to clients who rely on my level of knowledge and expertise within the world of residential real estate transactions and international business endeavors.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a full service mobile notary business and I specialize in apostille facilitation. Apostille facilitation refers to the process of helping individuals, organizations and businesses obtain an apostille for their documents to be used in other countries. Another area of my business that I enjoy is servicing the assisted living communities.

Being able to provide my mobile notarization services for them in the comfort of their own space allows them to have a sense of safety and trust which is very important within senior communities. I’m also proud of the relationships that I have developed with immigration attorneys, new home builders, import & export business owners and others since relocating to Florida from the DMV area 3 1/2 years ago.

What sets me apart from most is I focus on creating, building and maintaining relationships within the community and I am very thankful for every opportunity no matter how small.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Florida has so much to offer outside of it’s beautiful beaches. One of my favorite spots to hang out is Krate at The Grove in Wesley Chapel. Open-air shopping, boutique retail shops, unique restaurants, and live entertainment all in one place. And while your in Wesley Chapel a great spot to grab and bite and great drinks would be Noble Crust.

Another great way to spend the day it to visit best attraction in Apollo Beach – The Manatee Viewing Center, and it’s free!

And them Armature Works in Tampa is great family fun for all ages.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Without the support of my husband Andre I would not be able to have this level of flexibility and autonomy.
