Meet Lauren Klein, Esq., LL.M. | Attorney and Co-Founder of Flourish Law Group PLLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Klein, Esq., LL.M. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lauren, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
After years in Big Law, I saw firsthand how high-quality legal services were often reserved for the few—and how impersonal the experience could be. My law partner, Kristen Landon, and I knew we could take the skills, training, and strategic insight we gained and bring it back to our own community in a way that felt more human and that was available to clients of all levels of wealth.
The idea behind Flourish Law Group was to create a boutique firm that offers the same caliber of legal expertise but with a personalized, relationship-driven approach. We wanted our clients—many of whom are families, parents, business owners, or individuals navigating major life transitions—to feel seen, heard, and truly supported.
We believed the law could be both sophisticated and accessible, and that people shouldn’t have to choose between excellence and empathy. That belief became the foundation of Flourish Law Group.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Flourish Law Group is more than just a law firm—it’s a movement. We’re a boutique trusts, estates, and tax law firm founded on the belief that legal planning should be both strategic and deeply personal. After spending years in Big Law, we realized that so many families, professionals, and business owners in our own communities weren’t getting access to the level of care, clarity, and sophistication they deserved. We knew we could change that.
What sets us apart is that we lead with heart and with excellence. We bring top-tier legal knowledge to the table—but we also take the time to really get to know our clients, their values, their goals, and the legacy they want to leave. We’re proud to build long-term relationships rooted in trust, not transactions.
Getting to this point wasn’t easy. Entrepreneurship is humbling, and starting a law firm—while being a parent to two young children—meant navigating a steep learning curve, late nights, and plenty of moments where doubt tried to creep in. But I kept going, because I believed deeply in our mission and the people we serve.
I’ve learned that building something meaningful takes time, resilience, and a willingness to rewrite the rules. I’ve learned to ask for help, to trust my gut, and to protect my peace. And I’ve learned that success looks different when it’s aligned with your purpose.
What I want the world to know is that Flourish is here to change how people experience the law. We’re here to empower, to educate, and to help our clients make confident decisions—whether it’s planning for their families, protecting their businesses, or building generational wealth.
And through it all, we’re showing that you can build a business rooted in authenticity, compassion, and excellence—and still thrive.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When it comes to food, I love showing off some of Fort Lauderdale’s hidden gems and must-try favorites. Larb Thai Isan has hands-down the best Thai food in town—authentic, bold flavors that never miss. Evelyn’s at the Four Seasons is perfect for a chic night out with coastal Mediterranean vibes, and for Korean BBQ, Gabose is always a fun, delicious experience. And of course, Ann’s Florist & Coffee Bar is a favorite for a light bite, a latte, or just soaking in the charm of a floral café.
For fitness, I’d take my friend to a class at Yogithoti for a great flow and good energy, or The Office 954, which is perfect for a more high-intensity sweat.
For a little luxury and relaxation, Evara Beach Spa is my go-to for a full spa day—it’s serene, beautiful, and just what you need to reset.
And no visit is complete without a beach day! We’d definitely spend at least one full day on the sand, soaking up the sun and ocean breeze that makes Fort Lauderdale feel like paradise.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So much of my success is because of my husband, Andrew’s, unwavering support, patience, and belief in me—even during the times I didn’t fully believe in myself. From late nights in law school to the long hours of Big Law and then the leap into entrepreneurship, he’s been my rock. He’s often the quiet strength behind the scenes—the one who holds it all together when things get messy, reminds me of my “why” when I lose sight of it, and never lets me forget what I’m capable of. He’s been my sounding board, my co-parent, and my biggest cheerleader all rolled into one.
