Oh, if my best friend were visiting Miami, we would be in for an absolutely unforgettable week. As a lifestyle manager, it’s not just about hitting the hot spots; it’s about curating a perfect rhythm of energy, relaxation, culture, and pure indulgence. It’s about creating moments. Here is the week-long itinerary I would design to show them the very best of Miami.

Home Base: I have two options to offer her:

Option 1: The Sanctuary (Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club) You choose this if you want to feel like you’ve escaped to a private, impossibly chic coastal estate.
Option 2: The Scene (W South Beach) You choose this if you want to wake up in the pulsing heart of the action. The vibe is energetic, social, and fashion-forward.

Arrive at MIA, hop inside the waiting car and cruise up to check into the hotel. Immediately decompress with a glass of champagne on the balcony overlooking the ocean.

Dinner spots:
Forte Dei Marmi ( my absolute favorite Italian!) The Surf Club restaurant at For Season Surfside, Claudie, Sunny Steakhouse, Mila, and Queen for a vibe and music and Beauty and The Butcher or Shingo both in Coral Gables (worth the drive)
Lunch: Milos, Ocean Grill at Setai Hotel, Lido at Surfclub, Michael’s genuine, and Mandolin in Design district.

A Day on the Water:
This is a non-negotiable Miami luxury. We’ll charter a beautiful private yacht for the day and have lunch at Seaspice.

A Day for Rejuvenation. We’ll start with a spa session at the incredible Tierra Santa at Faena Hotel and maybe a light lunch at Los fuegos.

A Day of Cuban Rhythms as Grand Finale: we’ll immerse ourselves in Cuban culture in Little Havana. We’ll walk down Calle Ocho, watch the masters roll cigars, listen to the live music spilling out of the bars, and grab a cortadito from a walk-up window. Lunch is at the legendary Versailles—an absolute institution.

An afternoon shopping at Bal Harbor and Design District is a must! We will go and say hi to my long-time good friends Chris Paciello at Anatomy, Nicola Siervo ( a pillar of hospitality in Miami), and DJ Irie, the legendary DJ with the biggest heart, and his IRIE Foundation!

It’s about showing my best friend that Miami isn’t just one thing—it’s everything.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The idea for Elect Travel wasn’t born from a single spark, but rather from a natural evolution. My background in fashion , combined with years spent in luxury hospitality—most notably at the W Hotel in South Beach—has given me both a refined eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding of what affluent travelers truly seek. Over time, I recognized a distinct gap in the market: a lack of fully integrated, bespoke services that go beyond travel to curate entire lifestyle experiences—interweaving fashion, culture, and exclusive access.

When I met Larry Altruda—whose family has been a pillar of Italy’s tourism industry for generations through their company, Big Tours—everything fell into place. Our shared passion for excellence and complementary strengths made the vision clear: by uniting my global network with his family’s legacy, we could create something truly extraordinary. Elect Travel was born from that synergy, with a mission to serve as the ultimate key to the world for discerning individuals.
