We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kayla, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was simple I was dealing with eczema and other breakouts dealing with my skin. I was constantly looking for products to make my skin appearance smoother and blemish. So I decided to make my own product from scratch in my mother’s kitchen. After a few days of using my creation and the immediate change to my skin, I had epiphany and wondered how many others are stuffing from skin conditions and needed my magical potion.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others is that I’m driven and determined to help others who face skin conditions and bring out that confidence in them no matter their age, race, and gender. I’m most excited that my business just launched our new body butters collection All Day & All Night. I got to where I am by working hard, being authentic, getting the customers reviews seeing what’s profitable and what’s not profitable. No it wasn’t easy especially starting launching a new business. The lessons I’ve learned is that greatnesses requires sacrifice. I want the world to know Beautifully Balanced,LLC is never compromised on being Beautifully Balanced.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my best friend to south beach, check out some restaurants, just hang out and catch up on old times. I would definitely recommend going to the beach and soaking your feet in the sand.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a special shoutout God who’s first in my life, my team at Beautifully Balanced,LLC I’m so grateful for everything they do, the supporters who always show their love and support, most of all my Mom, she’s my biggest cheerleader and always encourage me to keep pressing.
