Hi Rosa, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
What do you want your legacy to be? What do you want people to remember about you? I want my legacy to be one of love, excellence, knowledge and success. My legacy is to leave women a foundation of knowledge and wisdom needed for them to become great leaders. My gift to the world is the freedom to be the best version of yourself. I want to be remembered as the woman that changed the world by transforming women’s lives. I have learned that when you change one woman’s life, you change generations. This is why, everything I do on a personal and professional level is intentional and directed towards helping female entrepreneurs reach their full potential. I also want to be remembered as a woman that loved life and that the abundant life that I lived was due to the love I had for helping women be set free to be themselves and achieve success. I want people to know that I used all my gifts and talents to empower and uplift others. My greatest hope is not only to impact my children and those around me in a positive way but to leave a mark in the world of love, beauty, honor, truth, and strength.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. I am the proud owner of a digital marketing company and the founder of a women’s organization called Latina Leaders Leaving A Legacy. Both endeavors were birth out of a great desire to help women become great leaders in their personal and professional lives. What sets me apart from others is that I am passionate and completely devoted to the success of others. I love empowering women to be great leaders and am blessed when I see them become successful entrepreneurs. Every time I see a women’s business thrive and succeed that’s not work for me – that’s leaving a legacy. As female entrepreneurs we face a lot of obstacles and if I have been able to overcome them, why not teach others how to be overcomers as well? Ever since I can remember, my heart’s desire was to help women. However, I didn’t exactly know how I was going to help them.

As time passed and I began to educate myself, I was able to identify that women lacked the knowledge and guidance on how to be great leaders in their homes, workplace and community. So, my quest began in learning how I could teach women to be great leaders. I soon discovered that social media was an excellent tool for reaching thousands of women and teaching them how to grow personally and professionally. One day, I got the courage to make my first video about leadership and posted it on social media. That day, my vision to reach and empower women became a reality. I decided from that day forward that I was going to use all my knowledge, skills and experience to start this new YouTube channel called Latina Leaders Leaving a Legacy. I began using social media to teach women how to be great leaders that leave a legacy for future generations.

As I developed this YouTube channel, I began exploring and learning about the power and potential of social media. Learning how to use YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn gave me a newfound freedom and power. I was so excited to be introduced to the power of the digital world that I decided I couldn’t keep it to myself. I then began teaching other female entrepreneurs how to use social media to promote and market their businesses. That’s how I started and founded my own social media marketing company called Global Rose Media. One thing led to the other. Latina Leaders Leaving A Legacy led to the birth of my own company, Global Rose Media. I left my full-time job as an educator and dedicated all my time to building a company that now empowers entrepreneurs.

Being an entrepreneur has been the most liberating and fulfilling experience of my life. I feel very lucky to have created a company that uses my talents to help women because that’s my purpose in life. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? I do have to say that this journey towards entrepreneurship has not come without its challenges and adversities. Although I do have a Master’s degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, I still feel like I do not have enough knowledge and experience to be an entrepreneur. The impostor syndrome has tried to make its way into my mind and stop me from moving forward. But I have learned that as a leader, I need to learn to lead myself first! I need to lead myself towards success by overcoming every negative thought that tries to hold me back from achieving my dreams.

So, every day I wake up and educate myself on everything marketing. I stay abreast of all the upcoming trends and changes in the digital world. I also maintain a positive outlook on my life and give thanks for being alive and for living the dream. What more can I ask for? I am living the dream of having a beautiful family, having a home by the beach, being independent and helping women. From this point forward, there is only one way but up. I have been through tough times and have come out stronger. Therefore, I am determined to continue on this journey of entrepreneurship and using all my talents to bless women around the world. What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Along this journey of entrepreneurship, I have learned many lessons.

However, one lesson that stands out the most is learning that I can do anything as long as I believe in myself. My faith in God has taught me that I am created with many talents, gifts and abilities that enable me to be a great leader. I am fully equipped to lead a successful life and teach others how to lead one as well. I have also learned that even when things get tough, giving up is not an option. Determination, positivity, and devotion are the keys to achieving and obtaining happiness and success. Maintaining a positive outlook on the future and fighting through every negative thought that rises up in my mind is crucial. Surrounding myself with like-minded individuals is also a must for overcoming all adversity. When I am feeling weak, I turn to my friends for encouragement and reminder that I am not alone. I choose to walk with people that love, encourage, and support me. These lessons have carried me through, and I know they will continue to carry me through in the years to come as I grow and expand in my personal and professional life. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story I am the proud owner of Global Rose Media company specializing in social media marketing. I work with successful female business owners and entrepreneurs in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. My mission is to elevate entrepreneurs to a new level of success they never thought possible through digital marketing.

My company provides numerous digital marketing services such as branding, social media management, website design, graphic design, videography, and photography. We are successful in managing, promoting and marketing businesses through various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. We use these platforms to establish entrepreneurs as influencers and experts in their field of business. By using the right strategies and their brand’s authenticity, they can reach their target audience and convert them into loyal customers. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my best friend visits me, we always head to the beach and then to great restaurants down in Brickell. Our itinerary consists of visiting south beach, Hollywood beach and Fort Lauderdale beach. Those beaches have gorgeous crystal clear water and beautiful white sand where we tan for hours while listening to Maluma sing hot sexy Latin songs. After we have soaked in the sun and tanned beautifully, we prepare to have dinner in restaurants throughout Miami that serve delicious food. We start out at Nusr-et Steakhouse while Salt Bae entertains us and serves his decadent steak that melt in your mouth. We have 2 or 3 signature drinks and then head out to a lounge or rooftop bar. Brickell has so many great places to drink and dance such as Blue Martini or a rooftop bar like Sugar. The next few days would definitely cover restaurants in Fort Lauderdale like YOLO, Casa Sensei and Camino. These are all great spots that have great food, great atmosphere and great music. Of course the vacation would not be complete without doing some shopping at the Sawgrass Mall and Outlets. By the end of the vacation, we are tanned, happy and created unique memories that can only be produced in Miami.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to dedicate this to my children, Gabriel, Michael and Jennifer. I am the woman I am today because they helped shape me into a strong leader. In my urgent desire to be a good mom, I chose to take every opportunity available to me and educate myself to be the mother they deserved. My dream was to be a great role model for them and teach them to pursue their own dreams. I am grateful for their unconditional love and continual support of everything I do. I am also grateful to all the women that have contributed to my success and my happiness. From the moment I became a mother, I had great women by my side that taught me how to parent and lead my children with excellence. Because they imparted so much knowledge and wisdom to me, I too want to give back and help other women be the best version of themselves. My hope in life is to be a great mentor to others as these women were to me.
