We had the good fortune of connecting with Odette Fernandez Lopez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Odette, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
As a portrait photographer, my end goal is to take the best images my clients have ever seen of themselves. “We rise by lifting others” I want to lift others. By the end of my career, I want to have helped document family memories, create heirlooms, and build personal brands that will be part of their legacy.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a portrait photographer turned into a serial soul-preneur. I started Odette Photo+Art as a way to help families document their lives in a beautiful way. It evolved, and now I am also a brand photographer because helping others grow their businesses gives me great joy. In both my family photography and personal branding work, I use storytelling mixed with Fine Art so images are timeless. It hasn’t been easy, but hard work works. I want you to know that I would love to photograph you.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Eat at the Hillstone Drink at small bars Visit the downtown, museums. Hang out on Miami Beach

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give recognition to Norge Matos, Utility Avenue CEO, who inspires me every day to challenge myself and become the best version of myself so I can serve others at the top level.
