We had the good fortune of connecting with Travis Ganzy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Travis, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
At Projected On Canvas we believe that art is an expression of oneself. Without it, we would not be ourselves. We decided to introduce clothing to supply the need for streetwear/urban fashion in the community.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have always found excitement in putting together different pieces of clothing to form an outfit. My passion for growth and knowledge is what sets me apart from others. I have always heard that starting is half of the battle, creating Projected On Canvas is what I am most excited about because of the creativity that I can display through clothing.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Las Olas Boulevard, the Design District, and Wynwood Arts District. Tap 42, Morton’s The Steakhouse, and Prime 112 are some of the restaurants we would go to. We would also take a trip to the beach to enjoy the water and activities.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my family and friends for constantly motivating and inspiring me to aim for success.
