Hi Jessica, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
The affirmation that I would have to say is my favorite is “you are what you think you are “, which means life then truly stems from your thoughts but because we cannot rely purely on thoughts; we must translate thoughts into words and eventually into actions in order to manifest our intentions. Personally , I believe we have to be very careful with our words and choosing to speak only those which work towards our benefits and cultivate our highest good . Affirmations such as this can help purify our thoughts and restructure the dynamic of our brains so that we can truly begin to think nothing is impossible.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Beauteous Lashes was created in 2020 by myself, I am an online eyelash boutique that specializes in carefully handcrafted luxury 3D Mink eyelashes! I promise to give each customer high quality lashes that will last a lifetime with proper care . What sets me apart from other businesses is that I aim to offer the essence of luxury at an affordable price and to showcase diverse standards of beauty. I also wish to uplift all my customers regardless of ethnicity, gender identity, and appearance. It’s been a year since I’ve started my business although corona was one of the challenges that I had to face , I would honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made and to anyone who wants to start a business as well I would say go for it , don’t even hesitate .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Tbh , I usually go on IG or tiktok to find new places to eat or new chill spots lol , I honestly don’t have favorites but going out to eat for steak or drinks would be the first thing on the list or going to a place where we could take pics because of the scenery and aesthetics .

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would definitely like to dedicate this shoutout to Tammeka – @Posyskin on IG , my bestie Frantz , my niece Amyah , and my angel Keaun , all four of these people played a major role in helping me grow as a better person , supported me from day 1 , spoke life into my business , and just was there for me through it all , I’ll forever be thankful and grateful for them .
