Meet Ainsley Sheppard | Entrepreneur /Mum /The Cream Queen

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ainsley Sheppard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ainsley, how do you think about risk?
The desire to pursue a dream has always outweighed the risk for me. There has never been a choice. If I envision something, and I will try my absolute best to bring it to life. I’m driven by passion and fueled by community. That’s my “jam”.

What should our readers know about your business?
Cream Parlor was created to connect with all who visit. Wherever you come from. No matter your budget or dietary needs, we have something for you to enjoy. You are always welcome. Cream Parlor is a spot where every individual can find something special. We want to be everyone’s happy place. I’m proud to be able to give to my community every day.
I love seeing all the excited kiddos after school, it so much fun! They’re the cutest, standing up on the red step stools, picking out their treats.
I believe I’ve gotten to this point (business-wise) fueled by a passion and belief in what I do. I would never have been able to get through these past 5 years without it.
I’ve overcome hardships ranging from hurricanes, divorce, untrustworthy staff, and covid.
I want people to see how thoughtul, caring and loving every aspect of Cream Parlor is. It is the highest honor and privilege having our customers choose to make Cream Parlor apart of their day.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would get a suite at The W Hotel in SoBe, drink champagne all night and chat on the balcony. The next day we would lounge at the poolside cabana and sip pitchers of signature drinks. Of course, a late night cruise on a boat is a must.
Then we’ would check out the local scene with cocktails and a lamb burger at Pinch Kitchen or perhaps cocktails and nibbles at Phuc Yea in Mimo off Biscayne Blvd.
We would take a trip to The Fountain Blu Hotel or maybe Go Hard! and party at Tootsies.
Then in the morning, we would drive out to the Everglades, have an airboat ride and get acquainted with the local wildlife. Then we would unwind with a little window shopping in the design district, we would head over to Wynwood to check out at all the local art and murals.
The last day of our holiday adventure we would enjoy a meal at Cream Parlor and top the day off with Ice Cream. A ridiculous amount of ice cream!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Without any hesitation, Edith Vargas Founder and CEO of https://linktr.ee/keepingyourbook She has been my absolute professional rock.
I truly would not have made it without her. I love you, Edith!
xx
