We had the good fortune of connecting with Andromeda Raheem and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andromeda, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is authenticity. Being authentic has allowed me to attract my tribe, people who value me, my purpose, and the services I provide. I am often told by the women I serve that my authenticity is what initially connected them to me, made it easier for them to trust me to deliver what I promise, and keeps them coming back for more. Being true to who I am has also helped me to be consistent in my efforts to build the very important “know, like, and trust factor” to continuously grow my audience and increase my income.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
She Wins Society was created to provide spaces and opportunities for women to prioritize their self-care and personal development. Our services include personal and creative development coaching, self-care retreats, and a global online membership community for growth-driven women to connect, collaborate, and learn skills that will help to improve their lives both personally and professionally. Our mission is to help women to individually evolve into the best version of themselves so that we can collectively win bigger and make a positive impact the world together. Our main focuses are self-care, sisterhood, and success, and our mantra is “When Women Support Women, We ALL Win”.
What I am most proud of is the relationships that have been built because of the community I created. To see women from different cities and countries connecting, collaborating, celebrating each other’s wins, feeling safe enough to share their losses, and supporting one another through difficult seasons is a dream come true! I am excited about the potential possibilities and all that we’ve accomplished already!
The road to arriving here was full of challenges and obstacles. I found myself discouraged a lot when I first started because I wanted all women to see my vision and join in. I had a hard time understanding why any woman wouldn’t want to be part of something so positive until I became more clear about who my tribe is and how to attract them. Once I learned that what’s most important is not the quantity of members, but the quality of our interactions, I was able to provide consistent value that allowed the community to grow organically and more rapidly. Our member retention is excellent – some members sustaining their membership subscriptions for over 6 years – so that is a testament to the fact that we have been successful at attracting the right people.
What sets me apart is my genuine desire to improve the lives of other women. I didn’t start my business to make money and I continued to move forward even when I wasn’t making any money. I have a clear vision that the world will become a better place to live in for all of us once we learn how to work better together. And I am 100% certain that the better each of us gets, the bigger we will all win in every area of life. I am creating something that I hope will outlive me. I am building a legacy and community that will positively impact generations to come.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The beach is my happy place and I love visiting beautiful places like vineyards and parks with waterfalls and fountains, so a week long trip with me in Orlando would include a beach day at Cocoa Beach, spa day at Ritz Carlton, wine tasting at Quantum Leap Winery, yoga session at Hot on Yoga, lunch on the outdoor patio at 310 Lakeside and a stroll around Lake Eola afterwards, dinner at Shula’s Steakhouse, and Sunday brunch at Keke’s Breakfast Cafe.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate my shoutout to my tribe, my sisters, the members of She Wins Society! These phenomenal women have been a vital part of my success because they have believed in, supported, and invested in my vision. They have helped to grow and add value to me and our community in ways that I am beyond grateful for. We have created so many beautiful memories together and uplifted one another in such amazing ways. I am in awe every time that I think about where I started and where I am now. I used to dream about being a part of a community of genuinely supportive women and that is now my reality. Because of the women who believed in my vision, we have collectively created a community that positively impacts women worldwide. We are living proof that when women support women, we all win!
