We had the good fortune of connecting with Iomikoe Johnson woods and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Iomikoe, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I want to make something for women that are different like myself they is no vitiligo woman that owns her own cosmetics company I’m the first and I skin is so sensitive so I wanted to create something that was safe for women to be able to put on the lips and skin

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a international published Vitiligo Model Social media influencer and a go-getter What separates my company from others is me I created a company for women who feel different and look different was having Vitiligo I lost my pigmentation in my lips and in my face so it’s really hard to find colors that will actually fit the only colors that I use are bright colors because they show very well on my skin I made sure that my products were plant-based and would not harm others skin my products are also gluten-free cruelty free and sulfate free it was very important to me to create a product that can make Women feel good about themselves and at the same time protect their skin

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First we’d have to eat at the cheesecake factory then we’d head over to AstroWorld enjoy the riots and good food then later on that night we would have to hit up the most amazing spot which is Turkey leg hut then we’d have to hit up our mall it is amazing there is a ice-skating rink inside of the mall and they have the most amazing shops Then we’d ride to Dallas and hit up 6 flags We would have a blast
