We had the good fortune of connecting with Many Novo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Many, why did you pursue a creative career?

Since the age of 8,, I was passionate about painting, toke some lessons with a master of Mexican muralist painting, studied at several institutions in Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende, and have not stoped painting and learning since then. I always liked oil on canvas painting on top of other medias and have perfected in many methods and technics.

I have to tell you that after visiting an exhibition in Mexico City of Fernando Botero I was in love of the 2D representation of volume and it was a well marriage to my Circulism(o) trend like a ring on the brides finger.

Love museums, art history and I have a bachelor on Architecture with a masters on Housing development.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

Since 1992 I fell in love with spheres, The most beautiful platonic volume of all.

I founded my path on artistic trend as Circulism(o) following many of the 20th century different trends, but these one is founded on spheres, hoops, curves and circles.

“The circle is the most beautiful platonic volume from which many things are born in the universe that reigns us”

One emblematic painting I made in these years is a sphere giving birth to a woman as the second most beautiful thing on earth.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would go to the local Art museum, there is always something new to enjoy, see and learn!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

So I want to dedicate these shoutout to my father who when I was 18 and I wanted to follow a bachelor on Art told me NO WAY!, first you study something you can eat from then you do whatever you want, and architecture for me was a live fulfilling path and the best supplement to my artistic endeavor.
