We had the good fortune of connecting with Kiara Santana and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kiara, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I started blogging, I was always nervous about how people would perceive me and if I would be criticized more than anything. At the time, I did not have a job and I knew I wanted to start a hobby that I truly enjoyed. To put it in the simplest terms, I just did it. Regardless, of what the outcome would be, I knew I had to start somewhere and I am so glad I did.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I enjoy posting all of my outfits on social media and styling them in my own way that can set me apart. It’s definitely been a hard road to get to where I am today since I had to basically learn everything on my own but I know I still have so much more room for growth. I am excited to see where my content creation journey takes me each year!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely have to take them to many outdoorsy places. Definitely the beach! I love the idea of picnics on the beach or even bringing an entire box of pizza to the beach and just hanging out there! Museums are definitely a very fun activity to take advantage of so I would definitely be making some visits with my friend there as well. Lastly, lots of wine and sushi nights!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would dedicate my shoutout to my parents. I don’t think I would be where I am and have made the decisions I have without their influence.
