Meet Sadia J. | Brand strategist, Founder, Writer & Creative consultant.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sadia J. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sadia, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Because I feel my best when I create. Whether that’s writing, designing a new shirt for MUSELOVELYCHAOS.COM, or simply putting some content together I just love to see things come to life! And sometimes be even better than I pictured.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I create from a place of experience, travel, childhood experiences, or relationships. I think what sets me apart from others when it comes to my brand mostly is originality. I mean I know everyone gets inspired or inspiration from somewhere, but these days a lot of things in the market is oversaturated. So I try to go above and beyond to just pull inspiration from new places and create things that I haven’t seen yet.

I am most proud of my brand MUSELOVELYCHAOS.COM. It is like my child, I’ve been nurturing it and watching it grow overtime. But what I’m most excited about at the moment is my book. I’ve been writing poetry since I was 11 years old, and ventured into short stories as I got older. It’s always been my favorite way to express myself, my favorite form of therapy so I am very excited to see how my poetry can help others who may read it. The book will be titled “ Writing my wrongs“, so look out for it sometime this fall.

How I got to where I am today was more than just hard work and dedication, but also just about freedom. The freedom and space to create and do things that I love. And it wasn’t easy and still isn’t, but every day I’m learning to roll with the punches and just enjoy the climb.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First let me say I love Miami. It is indeed my second home since I’m originally from Brooklyn New York. And I always have an itinerary for everything! But if my best friend was visiting first place we would go would probably be the Beach or the Ritz Carlton pool after a quick smoothie at Joes. Then head to Bella Cuba restaurant for brunch. Go to the Phillip and Patricia frost Museum of science or the Miami Seaquarium. Visit Wynwood art walls ending the night with vibes and good eats at dunkunoo Jamaican kitchen. I also love La Ventana Colombian restaurant for great Colombian food, or the Swan for good fresh eats and beautiful ambience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give some recognition and love to the boss ass woman in my life. Starting with both my grandmother Verna and mother Stephanie for instilling their beauty, wit and strength within me! Showering me with love and experience. My siblings for being my best friends and playing Mario kart with me . And my sisters from another mister Jazmilete, Roxann, Sophia and Ashley for the honesty, loyalty, and support, no matter what.
