Meet Yeisy Tome | Chiropractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Yeisy Tome and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yeisy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I always dreamed of helping others as much as possible, owing my own business gives me the advantage and the opportunity to do so. My field consist of treating all kind of patients in need of any kind of physical rehabilitation and wellness care. YKTC Chiropractic Clinic named originated from my name incorporated with the medical field that I chose to pursue.

What should our readers know about your business?
– I am a Chiropractor and Owner of a Chiropractic Office in Fort Lauderdale. I believe that my passion for chiropractic as well as my compassion, humbleness, and willingness to help others is one of my best qualities. As soon as a patient walks through the door, I can’t help but feel empathy and strive to treat the patient as I would like to be treated, with genuine love and care.

– What I’m mostly proud of is knowing that I run a beautiful Chiropractic Office and welcome any kind of patient, from every walks of life. What I believe sets me apart from others out there is that I love diversity and I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be able to help my community in this time of need.

– I must admit it was a bit difficult to get where I am today because as you know being from Venezuela, English is my second language. Therefore, going to grad school and college was a bit of a challenge for me. Often would I spend many of my nights studying while at school and preparing for exams. However, I was blessed enough to have had good people around me, who always helped me throughout the whole process.

-I’ve learned that you cannot take anything for granted. You must learn to be humble and grateful for what you have, so that way most good things are going to come your way. I believe that life is short and that we should love and embrace every second of it. Lastly, if you put God first you are already winning.

– I want the world to know that I love what I do and if you come to my practice you are going to receive a one of a kind First Class service and you are going to feel welcomed. I also offer transportation and work weekends to accommodate most people with busy weekday hours. I treat every type of patient in pain or in need of my assistance, patients who have been either in a car accidents as well as slip and fall accidents. That is my specialty. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend is Dominican and lives up North. If she came to visit me, I would take her to South Beach where the heart and soul of South Florida is. There is so much excitement in the area and so many places to checkout down there. The Beaches are beautiful and the restaurants and lounges are just great. If I could choose, I would take her to a Spanish restaurant to have “Paella” which is one of my favorite dishes from Spain.

The “W” Hotel in South beach is an amazing place to visit because there’s a beautiful pool and the beach is right next to it. The hotel has a few amenities, a nice restaurant and even a Night Club called “The Wall”. I have been there a couple of times and it is great. There are many foreigners from all over the world who enjoy staying at that very nice hotel.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to start by saying Thank you to the Editorial staff Emma Jacobs for giving me the opportunity to feature in this interview, as well as the Magazine crew for wanting to hear my story. I would follow-up with thanking my parents, because without them as my greatest supporters, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Finally, I owe my success and accomplishment to my Creator and give all the credit to God because He is the One who inspires me and guides and protects me in every step of my life.
