We had the good fortune of connecting with Saneika Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Saneika, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
When I think about giving up, especially in these hard times with the Pandemic and every other crazy thing that’s going on in the world. I look back at my journey and how far I’ve come, I look at back on all the support I have from my family, clients and fellow estheticians. It gives me the drive to continue to push through and never give up. And I know and believe that my business will continue to be a success.

What should our readers know about your business?
WAXGAD LLC owned and operated by Saneika Brown. I’m a Licensed Esthetician/ Skincare specialist, I provide a range of services from full body hair removal by waxing to Intimate Brightening. I also do facials and body sculpting through cavitation.

On my journey I had all the emotions, it was not easy I’ve had lots of days where I sat and cried out of frustration and exhaustion.wanting to give up but didn’t. Trust, it was a longtime coming. After beauty school I knew I wanted to work for myself but I also knew I needed the experience to master my craft so I’d be capable to provide the best services for my clients. And that’s when I decide to work at a wax center.

I knew I had to learn patience, which was one of my biggest lessons. I’ve had lots of days where I was fed up with my job and was ready to walk off but I knew this was a little step to my big dream so I push through.

I love what I do, I’m able to meet wonderful people, provide excellent service and overall make people feel confident and good about themselves.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d definitely go to Kaluz, one of my favorite restaurant. We could hang out at the beach.
