We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Guerrero de Vargas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ana, what inspires you?

1. What are you inspired by?

My greatest inspiration is my Husband and my 2 children. Both of my children were diagnosed with Autism. My daughter was diagnosed at 32 months and from that moment on, my life was forever changed. I felt like my world was collapsing and my mother gave me some very wise advice, “Your life is starting now”. No words could have been truer at the moment. My life changed and through my daughter I have found the purest love. I made the decision to go to college to study psychology to better understand my daughter and see the world from her perspective and invite her to see mine. Every day presented a new challenge and with these challenges I learned new things. Slowly I started educating myself on the Autism spectrum and other disorders, gathering information and working alongside her team of therapists. Something I knew for sure was that I wanted to help other people that were going through the same process as mine and provide them with emotional support. In 2013 before finishing my bachelors, I founded a support group for parents of Special needs kids called, “Todos Unidos Luchando por una Misma Causa”. In 2020, I founded my business, “Family Resources and Consultation Services LLC (FRCS)” where I provide Consultation services, Motivational Conferences, Personal development workshops, Coaching for parents with special needs children, Individual and Group sessions of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Support group for parents with special needs children. Here we provide emotional support, information about services offered in our community and educational speeches and workshops provided by professionals.

2. What was your thought process behind starting your business?

I am dedicated to personal development and the motivation and practice of NLP. I am a faithful believer that everyone has the capacity to change and modify our conduct starting with ourselves from the inside out. I am also a Coach for Parents with Special Needs children. My message to these parents is that just because we have kids with special needs, we do not have to stop living our lives, instead our children should be our motivation to keep moving forward.

3. What Habit do you feel helped you succeed.?

Discipline and personal compromise have helped me focus on reaching my personal and professional goals.

4. What the most importan lesson your business/ Career has taught you?

One of the most important lessons that I have learned in my career is that you cannot give what you do not have. My motto is,” Accept, Love and Live Imperfectly Happy.” Accept yourself as you are. Love yourself each day as if it were your last so that you can love others. Live life calmly without rushing, respecting the process in your life and appreciating the results. Live life imperfectly happy because perfection does not exist. When we try to live perfectly, we distance ourselves from our purpose in life and we don’t live life to the fullest.
Through the techniques and tools from the Neuro Linguistic program (NLP), I help people find self-love. If you do not love yourself first, it is impossible to have a healthy love towards others. It is an honor to be part of the transformation in my clients’ lives. I am here to coach the people that want to change their lives but don’t know how to take that first step. People that are having a rough time whether it be caused by a divorce, a separation, a death in the family or even receiving your child’s Autism diagnosis, I am here for you. I am here to help you to become a better person by using the PNL, to break the negative thoughts that limit you and impair you from growing and moving forward. To teach you to learn to love yourself and defeat the fears that don’t allow you to move forward.
