Since launching October, 2019, Buds & Brushes Ja has hosted some truly great talent. In recognition of #420, April 20, 2020, in spite of the pandemic, we boldly made our rst virtual footstep. Julian Marley, Xana Romeo, Vanessa Bongo, Cali P, Ija and other gifted ones performed live from isolation in their homes across the world. The energy was amazing. People tuned in from Jamaica, TheGambia, Cayman, The UK, The Bahamas, Sweden, USA & Canada. The reviews remain overwhelming. To date, over 100 talents have shared our global journey, making Buds & Brushes Ja a great platform for known as well as budding artists to engage worldwide audiences. With the exception of Antarctica, we have hosted (((LiVE))) performances from every continent. We are grateful to have had heavy-hitters such as Stephen ‘Cat’ Coore of Third World and noted Jamaican business leader Zachary Harding give of their time and talent. Product and social media support from local dispensaries Itopia, Sensi and Jacana, as well as from emerging Jamaican brands and international brands such as Hoi Polloi, EventHi, Toketivity and Vanguard Media (Just to name a few) has also shown lots of support in order to help spread the word about Buds & Brushes Ja and has help made a real difference

Philanthropy is an integral part of our purpose. Part proceeds from each paid ticket go directly to various charities via 876Volunteer. We have helped single mothers and donated to The Marie Atkins Shelter, as well as SOS Children’s Village. The Ebenezer Home for Mentally Challenged Males, Eve For Life, GirlsFirstJA and The Dear Child Foundation are among the other recognized efforts we continue to work with. The tremendous strides made since braving the elements just over two years ago belie the fact that Buds & Brushes Ja is a budding brand.
