Hi Mandana, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking

Taking no risk is the biggest risk- Mark Zuckerberg

Life is filled with many challenges, losses and victories. How you choose to move forward despite failing at times just shows you how resilient you are. Taking no risk is the biggest risk. I was never one to believe in the term “luck”. I truly think that each and every one of us has the potential to create and live out a life we’ve always dreamed of. Yes, some people may have a bit of an advantage compared to you, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get to where you need to be. Looking back at all I’ve accomplished thus far, it wouldn’t have been possible without taking any risks.

I quit my corporate job back in October 2021 to start my own business because I felt like I was being undervalued and under-appreciated in my workplace. It was one of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken because that meant no more steady income flow, no more predicting what tomorrow is going to bring or be like, and not knowing if I’m going to succeed in this business, but I did it anyways. Standing here just 3 months later, I couldn’t be happier. I run my own Social Media Management Company and work with amazing clients daily. This wouldn’t have been possible if I didn’t take the risk.

Taking risks always has 2 outcomes. Either it becomes one of the best decisions you’ve ever made and changes your life forever OR the risk not working out becomes a lesson you learn to apply to the next one. In order to grow as a person and truly evolve into the person you were meant to be and to do the things you want to do, you have to be willing to take the risk.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

I am the Founder of mSOCIAL Creative, a Social Media Management Company that offers a variety of services from content creation to brand and marketing strategy and influencer marketing. From creating the content, graphics, captions to reaching out and collaborating with influencers and celebrities, I take great pride in the work I do. I am passionate about helping businesses grow through the use of social media in the digital space.

Social media can be a pretty intimidating place for those trying to enter the market with a new product or service. It’s my job to guide you, educate you and walk you through all the endless possibilities you have to create your own dream brand and page.

Those that have businesses know how risky and intimidating it can be to start one. There are months where you’re making money you couldn’t even imagine of, and other months where you’re making little to nothing. If I can give advice to those who are wanting to start a business but not sure how to, just do it. There will never be a time where you’re going to feel 100% ready, 100% educated on the business you want to do, and have the tools in front of you to get started. You learn as you go. If one thing doesn’t work out, you figure out another way to complete it. Success is never linear. There’s no success without failure.
