We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolina King and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carolina, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
To follow and do what feels right, and must of the time it might not be the easiest thing to do. It might take more work but it’s worth it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My professional life, has been extremely rewarding, I’ve had the opportunity to work along amazing attorneys and support staff. I’ve learned to be extremely organized and focus and even tho our days are somewhat stressful it has fuel me to grow as an Artist at the same time. Art has been my life passion and therapy, and after taking on the presidency of The Wellington Art Society for two years our community outreach program guide me to find my tru life purpose. Bringing art to children in need has been life changing for me and currently I’m working really hard on putting together my organization to make this dream grow and to be able to reach as many children as possible.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
This is fun! I love to entertain I’m from Costa Rica so we do have plenty of friends and family that come to visit us. I’m a really good cook so that will be on the list, we definitely will be spending some time on the beach then I would take them to Shuckers on the Beach for a lobster roll and a piña colada. It will be a hard choice between The Florida Keys and Saint Augustine, both places have so much history and are beyond beautiful.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There is a few besides the support from my family and friends The Wellington Art Society has been instrumental in my life specially Lois Spatz, Erica Kyle and Faye Ford
