Hi Isabel, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Everyone has a business idea or something that they truly love and enjoy, but they never pursue it. some are always waiting “for the right time” not realizing that there’s no such of thing as the “right time” is all about risk taking, a go for it, a gamble basically and I can do it kind of attitude.

After working for several fashion companies styling celebrities and making everyone rich. I decided that it was time for me to start my own brand, taking a major risk, this was during a pandemic not the best time to start a business, but I knew it was time to make my dreams a reality knowing it could work or not, but I never wanted to live my life knowing that I didn’t take that leap of faith because of fear.

I encourage everyone with a dream or passion to GO FOR IT take a risk. it will pay off at the end, be patient and have a positive attitude always.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Hard to believe that a girl from Colombia, who grew up in a farm feeding chickens at the age of 5 as her first job, one day got to Style major celebrities such as OPRAH, Jennifer Lopez, Whitney Houston among others. talk about the American dream!

After working for major designers such as Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren, Luca Luca and ST JOHN. dressing celebrities and socialites. I decided to style the “plain Jane” I wanted to transform all the ladies that came to my boutique that had no clue which styles went with their personalities, skin color, body shape etc.
A lot of ladies don’t know that by changing the color palette they are used to wear would change dramatically how they look; certain colors and patterns go better on certain body types.
most ladies are afraid of color and won’t even try to mix certain colors together, not realizing that they can make you so much younger and glowing.

Besides styling clients, I recently came out with a line of body shapers isaXshaper for those ladies wanting to get back into shape.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is heaven on earth with an amazing population from all over the world a mini–United Nations.

I enjoy happy hours since the club scene is no longer for me. Dinner with my tribe at Santorini by Georgios where you will find amazing service and delicious food at a very reasonable price. Sherwoods Bistro is my spot to be on Thursdays for delicious food, impeccable service and talented jazz musicians.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have been extremely lucky to have the most incredible group of friends, who are accomplished, successful and incredibly supported of my ventures. I have to give my shoutout to my 3 best friends and mentors. Franck Dossa, Sladjana Ivkovic and Ronald Starkman.
