Meet Jesica Dwek | Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jesica Dwek and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jesica, what is the most important factor behind your success?
To be passionate, persistent and hard worker. Always eager to learn and creating new opportunities. No one will come knock on your door. To be successful you have to believe in you, in what you do and in what you are capable of doing. I love what I do and being up to new challenges. I consider myself as a “go-getter”. It’s important to DO, to be out there, to be active, ready to execute!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I worked hard to have my own business, and accomplished that dream thanks to the passion I have for what I do and believing in myself. I came to US as it was a new opportunity and challenge to learn more, to develop my skills and to experience a whole new market with the knowledge I have acquired along the years in the Communication area. I try to be always on trend, thinking out of the box and creating unique and distinctive marketing strategies for brands. I work on creative actions for restaurants, real estate companies and clothing stores, with the goal to make their business grow.

It’s important to be receptive and always eager to listen and learn. Why? Because constructive critics not only make you a better professional but a better person too. I learned that besides being a good at what you do, you have to be a kind and polite person, that’s a quality that every good leader should have. Treat your clients, colleagues and employees with respect. That way, you’re half way there 😉

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them out around Wynwood, an area that has it all and keeps on growing. Being an entertainment district, with artwork, restaurants, breweries and clothing stores, makes Wynwood one of the most exciting places to visit. And of course, Design District’s art and luxury brands are always a good plan too!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First of all I want to thank my FAMILY, my parents and sisters, for encouraging me in doing what I love and not being afraid in taking risks such as starting my own agency. I also want to mention my BUSINESS PARTNER, Natali, with whom I accomplished everything as a professional. Together we are stronger, we learn from each other and grow together with the same criteria, vision, ambitious and professionalism. Last but not least, I would like to thank every single CLIENT who has trusted us.
