When it comes to beauty, health, and wellness they can seem extremely shallow and lacking substance, but most only see the end result. I think more so in beauty than health. In the health and wellness industry most people are familiar that working out and staying healthy requires daily dedication and planning. As much as most coaches try to say working out is fun, we all know deep down inside that laying on the couch watching a movie sounds a lot more appetizing. When we hear Interior design, our mind goes to something pretty, and picture perfect, maybe scrolling to Pinterest, or any social media to have “ideas” but, designing a space, goes beyond this; yes, it has to be harmonic on trend and appealing to the end user and the ones who inhabit them, but we have to look beyond this to make sure that the space work for us. Kava bars get it all time: a new customer walks in, sits down and asks what we have on tap. They see the word “bar” and assume it is a place to drink alcohol. We begin to explain that a Kava bar is a non-alcoholic atmosphere. Most people will stay and listen but there are others who have already walked towards the exit at the sound of “non-alcoholic”.
