We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryon Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryon, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
My business began as nothing more than a stress reliever that I did in my free time right before the pandemic. My daughter and I started making banana bread together and I shared it at the office of my 9-5. It was a big hit and one of my co workers asked it I could do cupcakes for a birthday day party. From there it just grew more and more to sugar cookies, cakes, macarons and so much more.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One thing I want the world to know about Kingdom Bakery PSL is that I’m passionate about serving my customers. It’s more than just a cake for your child’s birthday or cookies for a gender reveal party. It’s that my customers trust me to be part of their special day in a special way. My customers often bring new ideas that allow me to take my skills to a new level and try new creative techniques.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of the most fun and exciting things to do in the area are: -strolling through the Ft. Pierce Green Market on a Saturday morning
-breakfast at Berry Fresh Cafe
– Dinner with a view at Kyle G’s
-Wine tasting at Vine & Barely
-Enjoy an activity at Stuart Ceramics
-Always grabbing a treat at Sucre bakery in Stuart
-Sunday morning service at Family Church Port St Lucie

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My inspiration and encouragement comes from my kids. I think that it’s important for them to see that you can make a career out of something that you love and it doesn’t have to be the conventional 9-5. Also by serving others with something as simple as a delicious baked good you can bring them happiness and joy during what is a special day for them.
