Meet Danielle Ondarza Cipriani | Wedding & Event Planner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Ondarza Cipriani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
While working as a Fashion Photography Producer I planned my own wedding, when the big day was starting to roll around I realized that I needed someone to make sure that everything I had planned came to fruition. Well while the wedding was lovely, the end of the night came and I realized my Day of Coordinator that I hired left without picking up my personal details… there I was in my wedding dress picking up table numbers, card boxes, cake cutters etc when all I wanted to do was drive off with my new husband and enjoy our big honeymoon suite! I thought to myself, “No bride should ever experience this, I should start my own company to make sure of it.” So I did!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have a background in production for the last 23 years. Working with all types of vendors, from store construction, to orchestrating photoshoots, so the progression into weddings and events was a natural one for me. My experiences have always prompted me to approach each event as a unique experience, a one in a lifetime experience for my clients. I can not treat it as “just another one of my events” because it isn’t. It is a special day that will never happen again for my clients and I treat it as such. I take pride in not cutting corners, paying attention to the details, and being an advocate for my clients. Their vision is my vision and I work to make that happen. I want them to feel stress free, and able to enjoy their event.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a Miami native so I like to do things a little differently. If an out of town friend came to Miami, I would take them to Shark Valley or Everglades National Park, then we would get a Cuban sandwich for lunch at the Latin American Bakery & Cafe on 57th Ave and 8th street. Then for Dinner we would head out to Soya & Pomodoro on Thursday night for some Italian food and live music. I may also take them to Kush Cafe – I love the vibe and ambiance of the place. Very low-key and the food is great. If they wanted to hit the beach, I would take them to Soho House for some excellent dirty burgers and drinks on the sand.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I must say that I would not be here if it wasn’t for the support of my friends. My first client came from a friend of mine (shout out to Laura) who shared my business with her friends on social media. I truly and blessed to have had so many wonderful friends helped me out and work events with me while they already had jobs and busy lives. I have to thank Cynthie, Ester, Jen and Melina … I honestly would not have gotten this far without your help and I am forever grateful.
