We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnna Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Johnna, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success, is maintaining discipline on a daily basis and constantly reminding myself that the sacrifices you make today will pay off in the future. Becoming successful takes a lot sacrificing wants over needs to get you where you want to be. It’s all worth it

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started Modern Girl Boss to start a movement of modern day business women who are entrepreneurs. We do business consultations and help small businesses find their way along with coaching to maintain a positive mindframe while being a business owner can come with a lot of pressure. Many challenges have come along especially in the beginning but I never gave up, I am truly passionate about business uplifting others while teaching, coaching is what drives me. The biggest lesson that I’ve learned is to never give up on yourself. Even if you are not so successful in the beginning keep going and stay on track remember why you started this journey. Modern Girl Boss is a place where we collaborate.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the going to wynwood it’s one of the hottest places in Miami and the exciting spots are just unlimited. Whether you want to listen to go music, art walk, and of course we brunch on Sundays..

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my mother who is no longer with us, but was the most hard working single mother out there. I watched her never give up daily and she taught that being an independent woman is powerful.
