Meet Kristen Stewart | Founder, CEO of Sawse Bawse & Jewse Bawse

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristen Stewart and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kristen, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Interestingly enough, I actually avoided starting this Sawse business for as long as I could have. It wasn’t until the orders started coming in regardless of if I was running a sale or not. At that moment is when I realized that there was a legitimate demand for my products.
Sawse Bawse isn’t just about an epic food experience but also education and awareness. Education of when certain goods are available to us naturally and in which seasons. Likewise awareness of all of their beneficial qualities therein. The combination of all of the aforementioned alongside the ultimate Sawse experience was a guaranteed win!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Who am I outside of Sawsing? I currently work for a major Pharmaceutical Software Company as well as I am the CEO of the non profit organization Ladies In Pursuit of Success Inc + The Anomaly Inc. Likewise also a PharmD in progress!
Was it hard? Heck yeah! My career requires me to do a great deal of traveling and critical thinking. Always on my toes. Constantly requiring me to be grace under fire! I can mirror the same sentiments for my non profit organization as well. Balancing them as well as kickstarting my professional degree program with the goal of PharmD then to cross over into PA-C is a lot to chew on. I’m sure you were already tired after reading those 2 sentences lol! However, though hard, it is possible. Once attained it will be rewarding.
My experience being a philanthropist is fuel for my purpose and honestly a huge part of me maintaining my steadfast pursuit to my goals. With each smile my organization places on a face I feel revived and capable of going just that bit further.
My brand and my story speaks for itself. I am the change I wish to see in the world.
I, Kristen Stewart… I am the anomaly.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
All of the praises primarily go to the Most High. Let us not mistake that.
Following close behind would be my late grandmother, Icylin Murdock and mother Pamelia Stewart for their teachings from young. My food experiences started from when I was practically my grandmother’s shadow in the garden to her and my mother’s cooking in the kitchen. It was those pivotal moments in my childhood that translated into my anomalous palate.
With the above mentioned also my brothers Sean and Marlon Stewart, sister in law Keri Ann Stewart, sisters + board members of my non profit Ladies In Pursuit of Success Inc. for their continuous support and being my involuntary taste testers. HAHA!
