We had the good fortune of connecting with Alisa Glow and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alisa, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Art and creativity have always been a part of my life. The art is that type of industry where I can express myself without boundaries and think outside the box. I’m enjoying meeting new people and collaborating with them.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My road wasn’t really easy as I moved to USA a few years ago without knowing anyone here, but I always knew what I want and believe in myself. The main lesson that I’ve learned is : never give up. All our mistakes are the great lessons to learn and make something better next time. I’m proud to see my work published in magazines like Marie Claire, ELLE, Playboy, Grazia, Cosmopolitan and etc.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take my friend to L’Artisane bakery to enjoy the most tasteful vegan croissants in Miami. And in the evening we would go to the beach to watch the sunset and enjoy the sound of the waves.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m grateful that my family has been supporting me since the beginning of my career.
