Meet Samantha Roth | Mental Health Counselor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Samantha Roth and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Samantha, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Work life balance has become a very important factor in my decision-making and my schedule. I used to subscribe to the belief that I must work a typical 9-5, or over 40 hours a week to be considered “successful.” I now know that lifestyle isn’t for everybody and it’s crucial to find balance within your schedule, and to find time for your physical health and emotional wellbeing. I believe focusing on your physical and emotional wellbeing, even for 15-20 minutes a day, can make a huge difference in your personal and occupational satisfaction long term.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Daily Victories Counseling, I specialize in anxiety, stress, and helping my clients prevent burnout. My approach is catered to each client’s needs. I’m excited about continuing to grow my private practice and becoming a qualified supervisor. It wasn’t easy to start my own business, but it has always been my dream to be a business owner. I took it one step at a time and discovered my own daily victories along the way. Daily Victories Counseling was born from my own personal journey with anxiety, stress, and burnout, as well as my desire to help others overcome their challenges.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wonderful therapists that I have the pleasure to network with, my husband, my friends, and my family.
