We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian Nituda and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christian, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?

I was always a hustler growing up. In high school, I worked as a Server and purchased my own car. I interned at a car shop to increase my knowledge and skills of repairing vehicles. I did a ton of side jobs; painting cars and rims, handyman work, buying and reselling items, and up to the point, I became a licensed medical professional and still did my side hustle here and there. I had an entrepreneur mind set. It wasn’t until my wife gave me the most incredible news that I would become a Father, that I immediately started to envision my life with my family; what type of life style I wanted to provide them, the legacy I wanted to build, and the values I wanted to instill in my children. Aside from my profession, I wanted to grow something else with financial stability and on a much larger scale than small side gigs.

First and foremost, my children must learn to remain humble and in order to reach your goals and obtain your wants, you need to put the time and the work in. Nothing in life comes free and obstacles are just part of the whole experience to build your own personal story. I wanted to start my own business to ensure I have multiple venues of income because depending on one source of income can put one in a bind. I wanted to generate more than one financial back-up. By creating a business, I am able to earn independently and the work I put in will be the result of my financial success. I wanted a business that my family can not only build together but enjoy. Raised in South Florida and surrounded by water, what would be a service in demand year round? And, it hit me. Growing up I always wanted a boat and so I purchased one and thought why not utilize it for both pleasure and business? And, that was the start of SeaLife Boat Rentals.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

As the Founder of SeaLife Boat Rentals in 2018, I wanted to offer a unique and convenient service where renters feel like they own the boat without the hassle of actually owning one. What sets us apart, is our business model where our phrase is “Delivered to a ramp near you.”

My company offers services throughout all of South Florida, delivering the boat to a ramp near the renter, of their choice or from their very own backyard. The process is easy and contactless should they prefer whereas the boat is prepped, docked and ready for the renter to enjoy for a couple hours, multiple days, weeks or even months. We cater to everyone; from a bareboat rental, driving the boat yourself to hiring a captain of your choice to explore the beauty of South Florida. The company motto is, “Live Life, Love Life, See Life,” and that is our goal for each renter to come out and have experienced that with us.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If someone was visiting South Florida for a weekend and I wanted to show them the best time ever, I would definitely do so by boat, cruising on the intracoastal from city to city. The first day we’d explore the city of Miami; from Bayside, Downtown Miami and watch a Miami Heat Game to the shops at Bal Harbor. We’d end the night with a sunset dinner at RedFish at Matheson Hammock Park and Marina. The next day, we would start the morning from Fort Lauderdale, passing through Las Olas, then relax at the Lake Boca sandbar. Dock and dine for lunch at Two Georges Waterfront Grille Restaurant in Boynton Beach then making our way north, we’d wakeboard and tube the intracoastal. The next destination would be to Phil Foster Park in Riveria Beach to snorkel and then hang out, fish at the pier and explore Peanut Island in West Palm Beach with pizza delivered by boat from Romana’s Pizza. To top off the trip, we would cruise on over to one of Palm Beaches finest restaurant, 1000 NORTH by boat for brunch or dinner with a view of the water and Jupiter Lighthouse.
